    Liverpool v Newcastle United

    Monday 13th April 2015

    Kick off 8pm @ Anfield

I really can't be arsed this week pulling together a proper thread. That feeling of can't be arsed stemming from the fact that we have the owners of the club and the staff and players not giving a camel **** themselves.

What I'll do instead is run a poll to see how many goals you think we will concede at Anfield.

Personally I think we will get utterly humiliated.

Gone for 5. I hope we concede 10 though. That's how much I am bothered.

I've gone 6. If that Sunderland side can beat us, I think a mullering from any half decent side is a given.

I've gone for more than 8. It would be hilarious. Really.

They could rinse and repeat the following game. Even then Carver would still probably get the job for next season.

I would actually like to see us get well and truly thrashed. Why? Because it would be funny to just see the look on Carver's face. Liverpool turn up [and they probably will] it will be a cricket score.

It sounds horrid but I'd also like to see us get absolutely walloped big time.
Even if we set a record for biggest PL defeat, the fat man will still stick with Carver.
Personally I'd have sacked Carver this morning and put Beardsley in place for the last few games.
The bloke has been there and done it and would command immediate respect.

We haven't done a big win in a while and have our own mini-crisis.

Doubt we'll get more than 3 if we reach that.

Nothing to lose now since we are dropping each week. Gazza would be a better option than Carver.

    7-0 I reckon.
Carver has taken over from Pardew as the blamefather.

    Either 9 or 10. Genuinely.
    We are an embarrassment.

I fully expect at least two players to pick up mystery 'injuries' in training to avoid playing in this one. Tiote knows where it's at - just like DeJong when he realised what he had around him.

Of those who do play, at least one will get sent off to:
    1) pretend they care and are giving their all
    2) have a nice early bath while the other morons take a shafting
    3) say they couldn't prevent the 8th, 9th or 10th goals as they weren't on the pitch

Expect Sissoko to have one of his rare decent games [on instructions from his agent.] Also, Gouffran will start and do **** all so that's 10 men before kick off. Sammy will start and stand on the wing huffing and puffing and probably pull off more successful passes to Liverpool players than Coutinho or Gerrard [if he is playing.] So that's 9 men for us; 12 for Liverpool. Expect Perez up front chasing clearances from Williamson that wouldn't have been out of place in WW1 trenches. So we are now down to 8. Then of course we have the undependable cart horse at the back: Mike Williamson. You would think that being English his style might be modelled on the Bobby Moore school of defending, but no. For us it's the Roger Moore school. So, we are down to 7 players before game kicks off. Add the other useless sacks of **** in [with exception] and bobo the clown on the touchline and the circus really will turn up at Anfield.

Can see us losing heavily here.
    6 goals too.
May even creosote my fence instead of watching the game.

Since we like setting records this season...we should aim for Arbroath's record v Bon Accord. That is, let Liverpool score 37.

    Gone for 5 without reply.
I don't really want to think about this game at all.
I too in a strange way hope we get absolutely hammered, in a vain hope that some bugger wakes up and smells the coffee!
To be honest l really can't see how this mess is going to sort out. The promised investment and rebuilding in the summer is just blowing smoke.
Ashley won't spend the kind of money needed, the right calibre of manager won't work for him and no plsyers worth their salt will want to join a club in such woeful decline.
They spout about lists of targets, but it's laughable, we won't sign anyone with any skill or integrity, those kind of players want to win things
