    I agree.

Or are you insinuating I've written posts with either of those in them?

But it doesn't work because I haven't made the comments you insinuated. Whereas posters on here HAVE said that quite a few players like Walcott are irreplaceable and that we will win the league based on current form.

You've just sensationalised some of the more negative comments that have been made on here over the season. Most of which still stand in the original unsensationalised context.

You said that everything on here is considered negative unless it says we're going to win the quadruple (though unlike you I haven't seen anyone say we're going to win the quadruple, and only 2 posters saying they think we can win the league and cup, which most have disagreed with).

And you want sensible posts without people saying everyone of our players is irreplaceable or that we'll win the league - a sensible desire.

So I just gave the other side of that, with hoping that we'd get posts without posters saying some of our players are totally ****, or that our manager is an imbecile. - seems sensible to me.

I never accused anyone, like you didn't accuse anyone, all I said was, like you, I hope we can have some sensible posts - or do you disagree?

I haven't sensationalised any comments - there have been comments on this forum that have said Wenger is an imbecile (or worse) and other posts that have said that some of our players are **** and shouldn't be anywhere near a club like us - Ramsey was called a Championship player in 1 example.

That's not exaggeration, sensationalisation or anything else, I'm just going on other posters comments.

Wenger isn't a top drawer manager anymore, thats a valid statement. He hasn't won a big trophy for over a decade and it doesn't look changing. I don't remember anyone calling him an imbecile on here though.

Ramsey was awful for a very, very long time. Even now he's dropped and is still inconsistent. He's only had one great half season with us. Some of his criticism was valid, some ott.

Really? I remember people saying it and worse - I never made a any mention of him being top draw or not. (IMO discussing whether he's top draw or not is a sensible discussion, calling him an imbecile isn't).

Some of Ramsey's criticism was ridiculous, OTT and very harsh and counter productive. But I'm just using it as an example of the extreme negatives, as you were using us winning the quadruple as an extreme positive - you seem quite defensive (though apologies if I've got that wrong)

Not really sure what I'm supposed to be defending... I could being defensive I suppose, not sure what about though.

Can't stand fluffiness as, to me, it is excusing and accepting mediocrity. And to complain at perceived negative posts also annoys me because it seems like the poster gets attacked for wanting more than what we have. Is it so wrong to desire to have a manager better than what we have? Is it so wrong to want to replace some of our players with better ones?

And Ramsay's criticism on here can't have been counter productive because it was entirely irrelevant...unless you think he reads these boards?

I don't understand this post sorry - it started because you said you were annoyed at over-positive posts, so I said that the same could be said about over-negative posts, yet you seem to keep thinking I'm either attacking you or attacking just negative posts, which I'm not.

But your example of over negative posts were embellished to the point of being made up. My examples of over positive posts were real.

    Anyway, this is going nowhere.

    2015/16 is our year.

Why would you say that??? You've already agreed with me that there was some OTT comments about Ramsey, and a poster here did say that he was only good enough to be a Championship player. Again posters HAVE said that Wenger is an imbecile. I've pointed this out before, yet your acting as if I'm over-exaggerating and having a go at any negative post.

While your point was that 'But I forget, anything other than 'Arsenal will win the quadruple' is negative on here' if clearly embellished to the point of being made up!

As I said earlier, there are only a few posters who've said that we'd win the league and FA Cup, and most people have disagreed with them - I have seen anyone 1. Say we'll win the Quadruple (or even the Treble), or 2. Shoot down anyone who doesn't believe we'd win the Quadruple.

I'd say that is a fair exaggeratation!

Well 6 matches ago Arsenal were 7 points behind Manchester City and now sit 2 points above them. I am sure 6 games ago it would have been considered unlikely that Arsenal would catch and overtake City in such a short period of time from so far back, but they have. City's form has also not been terrible, 3 wins and 3 losses in the last 6 matches. City have felt the pressure of Arsenal and Utd winning games and they have been caught. I really don't understand why that would not be something that could happen to Chelsea who are not even playing well. I would have thought every Arsenal fan would be talking about the possibility and glued to every Chelsea result as well as Arsenals, instead of just assuming it can not happen and saying that people who think it can or will are not being sensible and should not post.

I'm more happy that we are making progress as a team, the bonus is us being 2nd. But it is great to see us move up the table the way we are. Hope we continue to battle all the way till the end of the season and see where we end up.

The 'top drawer' statement is debatable.

He may well finish above Pellegrini and Van Gaal - while managing a smaller budget. Both of which are considered 'elite' managers.

If Van Gaal is an elite manager then so is Paul Ince
