One thing for certain, we've got a hell of a game on our hands on Saturday.

They attack with loads of pace and have a few players with a bit of magic in them.

Looking at the stats Man City are dominating possession and chances, but it's goals that win games..

Stats can be deceiving mate, Palace have played well enough to deserve this lead. 20mins left and Palace legs look tired now. The extra days rest and them having to travel up the other end of the country might just swing it in our favour on Saturday.

They gave a good all round team performance against class opposition and their defence of a two goal lead was impressive. Should be a cracking game this weekend if both teams go for it.

They could give us problems. Let`s face it, our back 4 aren`t the swiftest.

Pardew`s done a hell of a job. Nearly safe already. I wonder if the mags want him back now they`ve seen the alternative. <laugh>

They're on 39 points now Grandad. Safe enough and ready to load the fridges full of champagne!

I didn't see next weeks game against Palace as being a real toughie!

I might have been wrong about that.

Pardew's got them well set up and using their pace well.

I think Pardew would love to do us on Saturday as a bit of retribution for the derby defeats we inflicted on him...........all in all I don't think a point would be disastrous against them if they play like they did 2nite

if both our team and our fans give the same performance as they did against the mags,we stand a great chance of beating them this weekend.Yes I know it wont be an easy game (what games are in the premier league) but the fact that they have just beaten Man City, they might just think that we are an easy touch (just going by Pardews after match comments),this may play into our hands.Lets just go at them from the off and secure 3 more points

Very lucky to get away with a penalty for handball but I'm not complaining <laugh>

Palace are looking like a great side, they've definitely got their eye on a top 10 finish, I can see them reeling in at least one of West Ham or Stoke who have both taken to a steady stroll by the looks of things.

Palace are much improved but we're at home so must be going for the win. No reason why we can't improve.

I know they say don't change a winning side but in my opinion we can't go as narrow as we have last 2 games against a side very good from the wings and very quick. Larsson is banned so perfect game to bring Johnson back into the starting line up. Id also bring Reveliere in at left back for better defensive cover but I'd utilize Van Aanholts pace and ability to get forward from left wing. Although Fletcher was better agains the mags I'd start Wickham for his extra mobility, pace and physicality

    ----------Pantillimon------------
    Jones--Vergini----Oshea----Rev
    -----Cattermole--Rodwell--------
    Johnson----Wickham--------Pva
    --------------Defoe--------------

Love the look of that team, especially having PVA on the wing with another full back behind him - should give us plenty of cover against Palace's very good wingers.
