Why? -He's made plenty of errors costing him valuable points -His teammate is ahead of him in the WDC -McLaren are 1.5 second slower than Red Bull
I was talking about winning the British Grand Prix, not the WDC. That will not happen this year. Vettel is a double World Champion. And he can easily beat Button like he did last year.
In that case, I ask the same question: Why? - Starting in 10th - Starting on old tyres used in Q1 and Q3 - Never won a race when starting below 2nd row - McLaren has poor balance - Not that quick through speed traps
Race Predictions?? Top Five please... 1.Mark Webber 2.Lewis Hamilton 3.Felipe Massa 4.Fernando Alonso 5.Paul Di Resta I can see Ferrari struggling for pace on the Hard Tyres. I know Forza said there was some rear upgrades, but I am yet to be convinced.
Look I am Just a fan trying to lift Lewis up. He has a **** car and is struggling to cope with all the pressure and chat about Red Bull, Contract, Home Grand Prix, Dangerous Driving Style, Killing people and etc etc. You know I am a Lewis fan and I am surprised you think I think that he is going to win. Look at my prediction I put Lewis second like last year. Yes I know it's very optimistic but I am just supporting my driver.
Another thing we disagree on, however if you are correct McLaren have a good chance of a podium. Ferrari looked good in FP3 and Q1 when on prime tyre - the laptimes were very quick straight away and Massa was only 1 tenth slower than Webber with hard tyres in Q1. Marc Gene in Spanish commentary said Massa was happy on the hard tyre - Massa finds it harder to heat up the tyres. They basically have a completely redesigned rear suspension which works much better with the Pirelli hard tyre. My predictions: 1 - Webber 2 - Alonso 3 - Vettel 4 - Massa 5 - Button
1-Vettel 2-Webber 3-Alonso 4-Massa 5-Kobayashi Reasons- McLaren are praying for rain so they must be really hampered in the high speed corners, could see them go further down the grid and get beat by the Mercedes GP team.
Well, I think Ferrari will struggle with hard ons too. They will get anally raped by them, so I hope it rains and then they might be protected. My predictions: 1/ Vettel 2/ Alonso 3/ Webber 4/ Button 5/ Massa
1. Webber 2. Alonso 3. Vettel 4. Button 5. Massa It looks like Ferrari have fixed their hard tyre problem so I think Alonso will get second because it looks like a three stop race (if no rain) so I think Webber will win from lights to flag and Vettel will undercut Alonso in the first round of pitstops, Alonso will then re-undercut Vettel in the next round of pitstops and then will keep 2nd after the prime tyre pitstop.
But how much fuel were they running?? 15 laps?? 20 laps?? or more is my big question?? Anyway just realised.. They will leave the Hard's for the last stint were there fuel will be low... Sorry for the confusion.

And I know this is a bit bais guys, But Fred, Mifune, SilverArrow Where do you think Lewis will finish??
6th or 7th if he doesnt have another crash fest. If he's back to normal, he'll be lucky to be in the top 5.
We're on NewsNow now. Anyone fancy doing a race report thread tomorrow? I'd do something but I can't be arsed.
To be honest I welcome the Ferrari challenge for Silverstone. Shame for me that Vettel couldn't win the other 2 GP's to nail the coffin a bit sooner, I wouldn't be so worried about the near 100 point gap which Alonso looks to start closing down now.
