Just how good was it to hear him commentating this morning, jesus night and day better than the current rubbish!
Very good to hear him back commentating for F1. Crofty, Davidson, DC and Brundle are all very good as well. Some brilliant banter in the commentary box as well, I wish he could join DC and Brundle for the race and qualifying
Brundle and DC are doing a good job i think. Obviously nobody will ever be thought of in the same way as Murray but they are streets ahead of Legard/Allen.
Loved him commentating on Webber's pole lap, and good to have him in FP3, would've done my head in if he'd been on all weekend though.
It's always a pleasure to see or hear Murray, like a family reunion, but I think DC and Brundle are doing a very good job now. I'm especially impressed by how Coulthard has fitted in to the job.
It was great to hear dear old Murray back behind a mike. He's lost none of his 'fantastic' passion for it and is always good to listen to. By contrast, I happened to catch a replay of highlights of a race Legard was commentating on… AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. - Once again, I found myself looking for a brick to throw at the screen !! Thank god he's gone and thank god not a single person misses him. He is the only person who could make James Allen sound like a symphony; and even though what James Allen said in commentary sometimes made me cringe, it was always useful, informative and relevant; none of which can be said for blabbermouth Legard.
