love zooming in and looking at the look on the supporters faces as they more than suspect that the ball is on its way in!

Great picture but why are there two balls in it?

two seperate pictures joined together! The crowd on the left are not nearly as excited as those on the right! Plus, if Defoe was still in mid air as the ball was passing the keeper then that would make him super human! haha

I thought the goal post looked wider - then realised it's a composite of two photos

Wow that's good - it's only when you look really closely that you can tell. Top work Smug!!!! After yesterdays display I just accepted without question that Defoe is superhuman!

Worth every penny really, without him yesterday would have been a 0-0 draw. Look at all the draws we have had this season, I am willing to bet with him in the side 1/2 of those would have been wins. Its really fine lines at this level between being relegated and finishing mid table.

As stunning as it was, Newcastle should have been battered yesterday and you should have scored a few more.

That's the only critique I could find as a neutral, you didn't have any trouble at all containing them and stopping them attacking.

That's the worst (makeshift) back 4 you'll face this season I reckon, so sharpening up in front of goal is Dicks main priority now.

Wickham needs dropped, asap, for Johnson, that'll solve it I reckon.

He was MOTM last game against West Ham and put in a good shift yesterday. It's Fletcher that needs dropped.

Wickham could have put Defoe in and Defoe could have put Fletcher in and you'd have been sat here talking about another 3-0.

Fletcher has an abundance of ability, that turn when he was cornered is one example of what he's capable of.

It's just an observation mate, I've never seen the kid do anything useful, he reminds me of Fellaini when he was just plodding along and nobody knew what the **** he was doing.

Johnson in that position guarantees you more goals and more accurate assistance.

Talk about rooted to the spot Krul left half his leg on the goal line. <laugh>

Fletcher's a better target man than Wickham, he bossed everything up to him yesterday.

I'm not his biggest fan either but thought he was effective yesterday, far more of a bully than Wickham who's probably got 3 stone on him.

    C'mon Palace!!!

Both need to go during the summer!!! They're not good enough for the PL.

And as for the bold bit, now now TJ, no need for that

Just realised you're talking about the game on now, not our game next week! Duh!!!

I've got Palace - City 2-2 on my bet, but I'll take a Palace win. I'm the law of averages kind of guy <ok>
