So why post here? There's always plenty of discussion on here and tgen you cone on with your usual bollocks and aim thinly veiled digs at everyone who doesn't share your opinion which is ironic as you've spouted freedom of speech for years.

Yes,I even protected Dai's freedom of speech when everyone else wanted him permanently banned.

My "usual bollocks", as you so succinctly put it,is my airing MY opinions.
You,and others like you,are totally UNABLE to accept such a concept.
I mean, how dare I not grovel at the altar of Garry Monk?
How dare I defend the likes of Laudrup,Rodgers,Martinez,Dai.etc.,etc.etc. How ****ing dare I?

I have NO problem with "freedom of speech". Never have, never will. Perhaps others should take my lead.

What I DO HAVE A PROBLEM WITH,however,is when people MAKE THINGS UP,and pretend it's been said. IN OTHER WORDS - THEY LIE.
There'a small coterie of posters who indulge in that little pass time, and then spend a lot of time in self congratulation.
When I spot it,I respond. Guess what, they don't like my response.

If you want to silence me,ban me. You have the power.

You've been around long enough to know that the original topic of discussion often moves in different directions.
Shouldn't be too much of a problem though.
Nowt wrong with being "old fashioned". <cheers>

The Idiot has been menstruating on here over Laudrop ever since Huw booted him out, he deliberately derails threads back to Laudrop, and has had it in for Monk ever since he was appointed, his maturity is sadly in months rather that years, think he's using a Cefn Coed PC.........<laugh>

It doesn't take much to get insults and bile from you, you clearly haven't grown up.

I thought I'd combine the Laudrup, squad, Michu thing as there doesn't appear to be enough discussion

'And Michu. I don’t really need to say much any more but he was very good too.
In the midfield, Ki’s performance levels seemed to have the edge on Britton. Likewise Hernandez just about takes the plaudits over Dyer and Routledge (on account of a slightly better defensive contribution). And De Guzman was the second most influential player behind Michu.

This all suggests that Laudrup can certainly be entrusted with further cash to spend as he barely put a foot wrong as far I can tell last summer.'

    Not me but

I don't get the relevance of all this but De Guzman was an influential player. No doubt.

Key word being 'was'. I think we have seen the best of Michu and don't see where he fits in our side with a fully fit squad, and especially if we sign Mitrovic in the summer and keep Gomis.

Michu is not a striker.....Well it looks as if he is definitely returning so we might as well use him, We know the premiership suits a fit michu and if that happens then we will be laughing next season.....

Exactly, so where will he fit in? We have Ki, Cork, Gylfi, Jonjo, Grimes, Emnes, Carroll?(could buy him?), Leon, Routs, Dyer, Montero, Gomis and hopefully Mitrovic. I'd rather sell Michu back to Spain and use his wages towards enticing Mitrovic to us as imo, with his injuries and lack of form the past two years, he's too big a risk to chance in this league and I don't see him being happy sitting on the bench and thus could derail all of the work Monk has done in unifying this new squad together.

A fit michu is a class above most of the players you mention so if we have to sell or put out on loan like michu was then one of them except jonjo, gylfi and Ki......

The issue we have is that he is still under contract. I can't see many clubs wanting to take a chance on him with his injury problem, If we have to pay him it has to be he is worth a look pre season. If and It is an if he can get back to some form he is more than capable of starting for us again and will improve the squad.
