After today's 3-1 defeat away at Crewe I need to revise my early season prediction from 13th to an incredibly close call if we escape relegation. Our recent 'good' form has just been flushed down the toilet.........
It should not have come to this....Mad Dog was chopped as form was improving as was Taylor. PD wants a younger and more flamboyant manager........how about one who can simply deliver a team that can actually play football BEFORE it goes 2-0 down......simples
We currently have 1 more point than I predicted at this point so all is well. I said we would finish 14th and still believe we will finish 14th.
well after a poor start to the season under Taylor things turned around with the gang of four and continued with Edinburgh to finish a very respectable 12 th with 62 points. So who got there predication correct? Yes surprisingly myself and gfclucky were spot on. gillssteve said between 12 and 14th and grumpygit said between 10 and 14th. most also said mid table so we were all pretty close. I think with the progress we have made a top ten finish and possibly play offs next season is achievable.
I said 64 points and around a 14th place finish so I was close. I just over estimated the amount of points needed for a top half finish. I believe we can finish top 10 next season with a bit more consistency and a few new signings.
