I also read into that the same as well, he clearly realises that he's going nowhere with Napoli, and has to comeback to us eating humble pie, though I agree with ProjectVRD, think he'll end up back in Spain...........<ok>

I'd rather that United player on loan at Madrid, Hernandez, who is rumoured to be available for between £8M-£15M.

Agree. I said last summer we should go in for him. I really rate Hernandez. The only stumbling block though would be his wage demands.

I think it all depends on Muchu's fitness and to whether he wants to come back and play for us.

He's not top dog anymore so it remains to be seen how he'll react to this. Will he be prepared to fight for his place and earn respect. The answer to that will tell us whether he stays or not.

Every player gets injuries though but despite his, Michu hasn't had a decent game for over two and a bit seasons. This may be explained by his well publicised, by him, injuries but I don't buy that. He has played poorly for more than two seasons which suggests to me that he is a player looking for excuses and a player with little fight in him, not what we need.

He was outstanding for 3/4 of a season over two years ago, but now the grey man is 50 shades off colour.

If we have to pay his wages what have we got to lose in looking at him in pre-season. You never know he may just hit some form and we will see the old Michu, if not ship him out. As for Hernandez not for me, to light weight and doesn't score enough. Don't think he would fit our system at all.

I agree Trundle, I don't see Hernandez working with us.

Plus the fact his last 2 clubs have been Man U and Real Madrid, how much money do you think he'd
    want !!

Its just Vetch being a knob as per the norm this season. If he ever contributes anything football related he'll have a nose bleed.

You wouldn't recognise anything "football related" unless it was lavishing praise on Monk and bashing Laudrup.

I long ago gave up trying to debate or discuss anything here for that reason.

    <cheers>

But I came back here to discuss football, so if you have given up on discussing that why come here if you don't mind me asking?

    Me,"ignorant"? I DEMAND an apology - IMMEDIATELY.

You can now see where my hypocrisy assertion in an earlier post comes from. Or perhaps not, since there's none so blind. <laugh>

Well, the post wasn't directed to you,or perhaps you hadn't noticed.

Not much in the way of real football discussion going on here, sad to say. Everything has to revolve around what Monk had for breakfast, and where he has his hair done. Oxfam,I think.

I don't mind you asking why I still come here.
I enjoy seeing The Monkees wriggle on the end of the line.
I enjoy seeing how little it takes to extract the bile, insults, abuse, etc.,from them.
Although it does get rather boring after a while. Predictability, you see, rules this forum.
