He's a dirty bastard mate, he deserves to carry a reputation for being a coward now, let's hope the refs take note.
Sunderland 31 -20 29 Hull 31 -14 28 Aston Villa 31 -22 28 Burnley 31 -23 26 QPR 31 -20 25 Leicester 30 -20 22 HULL - Bruce is well into his laughable 'rabbit in headlights' phase as he does at the end of almost every season. Hull's fixtures look horrendous. If we can scrape another 6 points, they won't climb above us. Villa won't pick up any more points away (unless Spurs play as crap as they did yesterday). If I was Burnley I'd still fancy my chances. QPR have Chelsea, Liverpool and City in 3 of their next five. They might be gone after those games. Leicester just have too much ground to make up. We need 6/7 from our next 5 games. Smug, you said we played like a team yesterday. If we can match that spirit I think we can get out of trouble. But the mags were so bad yesterday, it's hard to figure out just how good we were. I'm still worried about Fletch and Wicks. The good news is,..... Catts is back.
Looking at that smug and based on current form I do believe we have the best run in.. Apart from QPR who have villa, west ham, mags & Leicester for the taking.. If they lose to villa & Chelsea then their confidence will be down.. Leicester are gone IMO, burnley have too much work to do on 'paper' but could pull a few sneaky wins ala Sunderland last season Hull? Well get used to watching the local rugby league teams play for bottom half positions Maybe Meyler the dirty kent could make the bench for them? That leaves us wth villa, aka 'mons piles' currently being licked up and enjoyed by sherbert I'm not religious but I prey to god that villa go down the lil ****s...
I did a predictor and had us staying up with 35. 5th off bottom. I think two wins would be enough for us. Fingers crossed.
35 points is about right IMO and a win against Palace today would be a massive step to achieving that. Previous derby wins have seen an 'open top bus parade' but Advocaat will have stomped on that first thing on Monday morning. Despite the current media love in Palace aren't Barcelona and they've never liked coming to Sunderland. One worrying aspect is that Newcastle could relegate us by throwing their game against QPR. Sunderland 31 -20 29 Aston Villa 32 -22 29 Hull 31 -14 28 QPR 32 -20 26 Burnley 31 -23 26 Leicester 30 -20 22 SUNDERLAND - If the next 2 games were Arsenal & Chelsea I'd be worried but the next 5 should see us safe by the time we play them. Palace (H) - April 11th Stoke (A) - 25th Southampton (H) - May 2nd Everton (A) - May 9th, Leicester (H) - 16th Arsenal (A) - 20th Chelsea (A) - 24th ASTON VILLA - Only 1 point from the last 3 games, 2 of those at home, Sherwood has a poor team and his massive ego can only achieve so much. Spurs (A) - April 11th Man City (A) - 25th, Everton (Home) - May 2nd, West Ham (H) - 9th Southampton (Away) - 16th Burnley (H) - 24th HULL - A defeat at Southampton would mean 6 games without a win, momentum is hard to find and Hull's next 4 games are rotten. Southampton (A) - April 11th -Liverpool (H) - 18th - Palace (A) - 25th - Arsenal (H) - May 2nd Burnley (H) - 9th - Spurs (A) - 16th Man Utd (H) - May 24th QPR - Their last 2 games could be the key to avoiding the drop, the 'flip-floppers' will have their factor 50 on and Leicester could be down. Chelsea (H) - April 12th West Ham (H) - 25th Liverpool (A) - May 2 Man City (A) - 9th, Newcastle (H) - 16th Leicester (A) - 24th BURNLEY - With Leicester, Hull & Villa to play they have a real chance, they're certainly up for a fight. Spurs (H) - April 5 Arsenal (H) -11th Everton (A) - 18th Leicester (H) - 25th West Ham (A) - May 2nd Hull (A) - 9th Stoke (H) - 16th, Villa (A) - 24th LEICESTER - It's looking likely that the game at Sunderland is where they'll be relegated, they deserve to go down imo. WBA (A) - April 11th Swansea (H) - 18th Burnley (A) - 25th Chelsea (H) - 29th Newcastle (H) - May 2nd Southampton (H) - 9th Sunderland (A) - 16th QPR (H) - 24th
Tony Cascarino in The Times predicts end of the season thus: 15th Sunderland 37 points 16th Aston Villa 37 points 17th Burnley 36 points 18th QPR 34 points Leicester City 34 points Hull 29 points That will do me very nicely, he does however predict us beating Southampton which could be a stretch. Hopefully we confound him and win rather than draw today.
Leicester picking up 12 points, 4 wins from 8 games? Hull just the 1 point? Us and Villa 8? I think the lad shouldn't write his column when he's half cut.
It's a game I can see QPR getting more than just a draw as well. Crowd look up for it and Austin looks up for it having a right good scrap with Terry and Cahill. Second half should be interesting.
Not a single shot on target in 85 minutes. I hope they blow their lead and we lose them the title on the last day.
Saved by the ****ing bell there, jesus. QPR probs gone, looking like us and Hull to join isn't it. If we end up with Lonsdale kits and **** again I'll be ****ing livid.. Ha.
Mixed weakened for other results. Villa will be safe now. Leicester win opening all three slots to anyone, this is really bad news. Defeat for Hull makes it look likely they'll be one of the three with their run in. Burnley losing was good news but they have winnable games. QPR look like they have the fight. Three slots for five teams. Very worrying
