http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...al-Madrid-come-calling.html?ito=feeds-newsxml I get sick of this. So Real Madrid won a lot of trophies years and years ago when they actually had a good team and weren't run like a circus but their current team are nothing special, they haven't won much in recent years and probably won't win much for a while with Barcelona to compete with. So many players and Managers kiss Real Madrid's arse but when they move there they end up ruining their career. They are blinded by the glamour and the money. I hope Hernandez sees sense and never joins the Real Madrid circus.
To be fair if Barca were in the premier League you would be in the same situation recently as Real Madrid.
They haven't even done anything of note in Europe for years though. This season was the first time they've got past the 1st knockout round in 7 years.
For some reason to many foreign players they still seem to be a better proposition than joining United. Dunno why (maybe the weather!).
Let's be honest here. Real Madrid is a much better option than United when you are young, ambitious and starry eyed. Not only is Madrid a better city, they would offer more money and of course he speaks the native language. But for a player he would soon realise that they sign far too many Galacticos and more often than not they ruin players careers. Ie. Kaka, Benzema, Owen, Metzelder. He would be wise to stay at United.
Real is a bigger club, a better club, play better football, have more prestige, better players, and Spain has much better taxes. Unless you're English and prone to homesickness, I can't think of a single reason why anyone would stay at any English club if Real Madrid was making an offer. Barca and Real Madrid are absolutely light years ahead of every premiership club on every conceivable level.
Care to explain Real Madrid's piss poor Champions League record over the past 7 years if they are so superior to everyone else? 1 Semi Final in 7 years is pathetic for such a "great" team. You're talking ****.
The only reason that anyone would leave England to go to Madrid is surely the culture. This is not a problem for Hernandez because he already speaks better English than most Englanders and hasn't got that tie of a wife and/or children having to move to England with him (although I'm not 100% sure if he is married or has a significant other).
Seriously. the premiership and all the top teams in it are a complete shadow of what they were only a few years ago. Unless you count Citeh, and they weren't a top team a few years ago. Real Madrid and Barca are both CURRENTLY vastly superior to every team in the prem. It's not even close. Sure an English side could nick a result but it wouldn't be because they're 'better'. We're all completely outclassed in every position and as teams compared to those two. Please join reality.
Do you have any evidence to backup your claims that Real Madrid are superior to everyone else? If they are so great how do you explain their poor European record over the past 7 years? Let me guess, they beat a Tottenham side who had never played in the Champions League before so suddenly they are amazing. Another person who is blinded the glamour of Real Madrid and the big names, mistakenly thinking that big names automatically make them a great team despite zero evidence that they are anything special.
Errr....They have Kaka and Benzema and Higuain and Ronaldo and Di Maria and Ozil so better players and bigger transfer fees = better than anybody else.
