Austin was sent off in the defeat to Blackburn Rovers on Saturday and he will serve the first game of a three-match suspension. Lewis Cook is still on the sidelines with the ligament injury he picked up whilst on international duty last week. Youngsters Chris Dawson, Kalvin Phillips and Lewis Walters are all pushing for a place in the side. Aidy White, Zan Benedicic and Tommaso Bianchi all remain sidelined with long-term injuries. Wolves boss Kenny Jackett could stick with the same side that beat Nottingham Forest on Friday. The win at the City Ground was a third in a row for Wolves who are now on the fringes of the play-off places and they have the dangerous Benik Afobe and Bakary Sako in attack. Goalkeeper Carl Ikeme is expected to keep his place in Kenny Jackett's side after returning from an 11-match absence with a broken foot. Tommy Rowe is still not fit for the game although he is closing in on a return to first team football having been sidelined since Christmas. How much do we think the off the field antics have effected the players? Is Redders strong enough to control the dressing room? If you were the gaffer, would you start with Antenucci, and defy the orders from your superiors? (There's something to be said for public support!) Was Sharp right by mentioning there is a rift in the dressing room between the English and Italians? Are we going to win today?
Morning Elland, another game for me that I find hard to get excited about. I just want the end of the season to come so we have a clearer picture (laughing) of what we can expect to come. I wonder how many fans would truly ignore their superiors on here, my guess is none, we all have bills and most mortgages to pay
Morning troops. Poor result Saturday, so expect some changes today. I'd like to see Dawson running our midfield. But is it right of fair to put him in for his first start in ages against a side already expecting to turn us over? Yes, we'd see what he's made of. But would it wreck his confidence. If he's fit, N'goyi should play as a DM. After that, anything's possible. Let's just hope the off field antics don't get in the way and we put up a more creditable performance
Morning fellow sufferers ... Adryan should start and be given license to whatever he wants, we lack any flair or imagination ... Redders is pathetic, and his safety first approach is laughable ... Wolves to win by three Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Fair point Billy. With only a few games to go & top 6 now somewhat unlikely, we need to be looking to next season & who Redders would like to retain. I think Adryan needs to be one of them because he has the flair to make a difference. He just needs to understand that the Championship is a physically demanding league
Tis now Mr S. One thing's for sure, we'll certainly end up closer to top 6 than the 'Wall. More to the point, we'll also be playing most of the same sides next season.... Blackpool and the 'Wall aside. Enjoy your trip to Yeovil next season
How many times, have we thought that, and Leeds have surprised us. I reckon today could be a good day
Why?? He won't be here next season, Cellino doesn't want to pay Antenucci a goal bonus so he certainly won't be signing any of the loan players... The only reason they were loans with a possible fee attached is in case we had won promotion. It has already been reported Bambas wages are going to be too high...
We need to know if Cellino is continuing or selling up, we need to know which loan players are signing (I believe none hence team selection), we need to know if we are selling any of the youngsters and if we are going forward with a proper manager under new owners or another coach under Cellino and another dozen loan players from Serie B
Fair play mate as I can't knock you for being optimistic but even so, it was in context that you haven't given up on the top 6. I'll have £100 with you that we're not playing Yeovil next season in league 1, if you look at the league 1 table you'll see why?
Morning all. I'll be parked in front of my 50 inch hD job where I'll be able to follow all the action. Unlike poor sods stuck in crap seats behind the goals who at best see a third of the action and getting all frustrated then when they can't follow what's going on
Whatever gents. The 'Wall will be filling lots of little clubs' grounds with all their fans.... & two fine blokes in blue to hold each of their hands so they don 't get lost, whilst we'll be taking our massive tribe of fans to other big grounds. By the way, does anyone know how many tickets we got for Charlton? All sold out before some of us even got a sniff.
I don't think Adryan or Dawson will play today. Think we'll cover Austin's absence with Phillips & N'Goyi - each getting a bit of game time. Reason? Simple - Redders always plays to avoid defeat. Always.
