There's a point to point website Drever. Pointopoint.co.uk. It lists all the P2P meeting taking place tomorrow and if you click on your meet you can get a list of the runners in each race. Coincidentally we're considering the Eyton meet tomorrow. Never been to a p2p before either. Not the excitement of a bit of fresh to accompany me though just the Misses and kids! Khyber Kim and Gauvain are among the entries tomorrow at Eyton though I see Gauvain is also entered at the Cotswold venue too. Enjoy. No tips from me other than probably best not to mention the ol threesome conundrum just yet. <laugh>

As stick says you can't go wrong with a pair of hunters, part from that they are relaxed it is a big family event really obviously you do get some with thier chords and tweed but put some hunters (or like) and you will be fine!

Never been to the course but I have been to quite a few Larkhill, Charing, godstone etc.. But with the exception of Larkhill Mainly it is really just racing in a field with some rope to keep the spectators from the field! Was suprised the first time I went! If u can walk the course easy to do! will give u a real feel! If u can be bothered that is. I'm sure sam and his father will pop up! So make sure u say hi from all of us Have seen them the last few times at various meetings! But have a great day im sure u will, stripped from its commercial flare and focus on soley on the racing that's why I love p2p! Enjoy and good luck!!!

Indeed it was mate. The horse they call "Harley" at home and he looks a class act. The suspicion was that the ground didn't suit at Ascot and he will be fancied to make amends. My enthusiasm is tempered by the presence of Somersbys half brother. Several years ago now I put a strong fancy up for one in a bumper and this thing I paid no heed to called Somersby gave mine a shoeing!

MYSTIC SKY 14-1 Fakenham 5:20 was well fancied by connections for a hot looking Newbury bumper last time but came up a little short and was beaten 9.1/4 lengths. The race has produced four runners since with form figures of 1B22 so its a looking like the form will work out very well. This represents a drop in class and at 14-1 this falls into my "not to be missed" category!
I understand the yard also like SONGSMITH at Plumpton but its been too long without a win for me to get excited about.

You could be in good company Drever as a "Miss Zara Phillips" has a couple entered....now that's a proper sort for a threesome!

If the Alan Hill trained pair, SHARP SUIT and KINGS LEGACY, take their places in the Opens they would be of interest. Alan is the husband of Lawney Hill.
NIGHTSCAPE should win the first maiden.

Rivage D'Or 25/1 for me in the Irish National. The other one I like is from the same yard and has already been tipped up on here and that's No Secrets so reverse forecast for good measure

"Progressive" is hardly the word usually used to describe a 10 year-old, but Terence O'Brien's mare She's Got Grit put up a career best effort on her 18th and most recent start when taking a Grade B handicap chase at Leopardstown at the end of February. That was over 2m5f on soft ground and, although She's Got Grit has yet to race beyond 3 miles, her dourness and grit that day looks sure to stand her in good stead for the marathon trip of 3m5f today. Bits of 33/1 flying around early doors.

Was torn between this one and my selection Wooly. Seems we weren't the only ones as just about every podcast and that clown Tom Segal has even put up the pair but I've gone for course specialist LOS AMIGOS 12/1. Like EoD's profile but the 2 'Fs' in his last 5 runs swayed me away. How or why is CANTLOW favourite for this lol The 'McCoy factor' really can create false markets.

16:20 Market Rasen - Engrossing (@13/2 with SkyBet).

(The better ground (good-to-soft, good in places on hurdles course) should help selection see-out the 2m3f trip, plus track is on the sharp side. Possible negative is he has never run right-handed in NH races before, but has won once going right-handed on the Flat (Kempton). Decent chance in a tricky little handicap, so have taken the best price available at the moment).

So you don't think its a JP McManus plot long in the making then..........

8th in the race last year beaten 14 lengths, race won by the owner, and racing today off a mark 14 spots lower! A stone for 14 lengths, makes sense to me.

If it is, it's been a masterclass in getting a mark lol Can't have him at all myself, I'm prepared for the egg on face should it dot up (had some yesterday) but to me backing that at 10/1 is bonkers. Seen these JP plots like Pendra go off at idiotic prices and do FA far too often I'm afraid.

O really that is interesting definately won't win now then, everyone is tipping him up unless they all saw my post <laugh>

It is the McCoy factor that has put him in to favouritism take next weeks national any other year Rocky Creek would be clear favourite great prep trainer on fire ran well last yr and had a breathing op since last yr too but it does mean with STFD fav and in this case you will get better odds on the field than you would probably get

Bit harsh on Pendra as the horse was very unlucky not to win at the 2013 festival

Know what you mean Wooly, difference is I respect the form of STFD as he won the Irish National last year decisively and its often a great pointer to the following years Aintree race. He'll be a silly price mind you, but there's tangible, solid form there whereas with Cantlow its just sentimental money/people thinking it's a masterful JP plot, which really don't happen as often as the bookies would like you to think! Fair play if Cantlow dots up mind you, happy to be proved wrong to give the legendary AP another big win before signing off <ok>

I think I know why, I was on it lol

That hound Regal Encore is another example of a very costly plot to follow, despite him winning some non event no one even noticed before Cheltenham, he's been turned over in all the big races he was so 'well in' for!

Guess I'm just not big into these JP plots or more likely just can't spot them lol

I think Regal Encore has cost quite a few people some money seems eveytime he runs he seems to be laid out and backed in for it and just blows out! I hope ap does run a big race but likewise beefy I can't see him doing much on the form as of late! If he does win then I reckon STFDs price will crash even more with bookies running scared! Anyone on the AP national double - and a question who if any has ridden the irish and English national winner in the same year ( not a quiZ, I don't actually know!! )

    E/W patent Fairyhouse:

2.45 Whiteout 8/1 - the other Mullins runners had hard races at Cheltenham and Whiteout looks unexposed and worth a dabble with the fillies allowance
2.55 Fever Pitch 10/1 - thrown in here on chase form, first run over hurdles for ages. Plot material.
5.00 She's Got Grit 25/1 - will need to show she has here, but the step up in trip could well bring about further improvement.

    Good luck all <ok>
