Lee Cattermole. Don't even think he did a great deal.

We're just a different team with him on the pitch.

    Love the bloke, me.

Catts for me....him and Seb won every second ball in midfield. He didn't even have to 'knack' anybody as it was that easy for him....lol

Whilst thinking that all deserve it for that showing, special mention goes to the front 6 , they chased everything down and created enough that we could have been out of sight by the time they got their one decedent chance

PVA for me, thought he was fantastic.

Gomez is still ****, misplaced a few passes and lucky not to be sent off twice for his diving antics.

Really tough one to call, I thought PVA had a cracking game and Cattermole too, as well as pretty much everyone else. Even Jones was up there.

It's got to be Defoe though, half for the effort and half for a wonder goal that deservedly sunk the mags and earned us a vital win.

Defoe, purely for his goal, but taking THAT goal out of the equation, it has to be PVA, he was back to his best today.

John Carver - He played a blinder for you today. The wrinkly toad reminded me of a dad watching his son playing football.

Said yesterday, I thought Catts and Seb were magnificent, but Seb more so. He was everywhere!

Giacc's right though, we're much better when Catt's is there.

I'd give the lad a bloody long contract, tie him down for years and make him team and club captain.

Jones, Gomez and PVA all worked bloody hard as well!

Taxi for Fletcher and Whicks though.....

No pleasing some people. I thought he was excellent yesterday. Almost every second ball he got to! His misplaced passes were mainly in trying to get the ball forward into good attacking areas. As for his diving - that doesn't make him "****e" it makes him a modern pro. I hate it too but it's the reality of the game.

Sorry mate but what a load of bollocks.

No pleasing some people? I'm allowed an opinion <ok>

Marcus you jump up and down constantly about referees, yet you justify Gomez for diving about when on a yellow card. If it was the other way round you would be going mental!
