After saying I wouldn't I got up at daft o'clock for the live game I could not resist it when I woke up at 3AM. I have to say that I felt he atmosphere through the screen and would love to have been there. Today will be mainly a good one as the team gave us a performance we have all wanted and they got the support in return

Just got in and watched the goal ....... fantastic, can't remember a better derby goal. Newcastle came for a 0-0 and got what they deserved, after seeing how poor they are I think we can finish above them.

I didn't even see the game. I knew what we'd be like today so took my mum out for a drive instead. The silver lining is that this result should help you kick on to safety (good for the area) and also show MA that Carver isn't up to the job. I'm less confident on that second point though!

Debateable. Support was there before kick off and simply continued from kick off until full time. By far the best atmosphere of the season and it helped the players imo.
I got a 'well done' text from some Mag relatives and I actually felt sorry for them .... Ashley's pulled some stunts but appointing Carver would top the lot. He knew many Mags hated Pardew but they absolutely despise the 'Geordie clapper', hiring him would prove Ashley hates the supporters.
