If they feel the need to change the keeper then it has to be Harper. Mcgregor was more at fault with the goal yesterday than last week. Its a massive risk to take changing the keeper at this stage of the season as it totally unsettles the defence, Mcshane, Bruce and Dawson will be used to Mcgregor now, Mcshane and Dawson don't have experience with the other keepers especially Dawson who relies on his positioning more than the other two.
These are our final 7 fixtures. Saturday 11th April 2015 - Southampton v Hull Saturday 18th April 2015 Hull v Liverpool, Saturday 25th April 2015 Crystal Palace v Hull, Monday 4th May 2015 Hull v Arsenal, Saturday 9th May 2015 Hull v Burnley, Saturday 16th May 2015 Tottenham v Hull, Sunday 24th May 2015 Hull v Man Utd. I'd say Burnley were the easiest, but as they're our bogey team? OK we have beaten Liverpool at home and we drew with Arsenal at their place. also we still have 21 points to play for.
Patty my old chestnut, as long as we keep Ings tethered Burnley will be a trot in the park. We'll have the bit between our teeth & stay up by a short head
The bad news: we have to play a load of top 7 sides now The good news: we play well against top 7 sides The other bad news: we usually lose valiently to top 7 sides The other good news: erm Sunderland are ****?
After watching it on MOTD, i can see why he was sent off and if that was against us I would be livid if the player wasn't sent off. Mcgregor could of done better with the first goal, and the two defenders should of done far better with the second goal, which wasn't offside. We only have ourselves to blame yesterday and not the ref. Meyler was stupid for getting sent off, but it clearly wasn't just his fault for our defeat.
McGregor comes under scrutiny everytime he concedes a goal, he can't do anything right in some people's eyes. He should've done better with the opening goal, that's fair enough, but some of the **** people come out with on here is mental. It was the same with Jakupovic, I don't know what people's expectations of goalkeepers are, especially ones that play for Hull City. I honestly don't think we'll miss Meyler at all, he's been cack for weeks (goal at Man City aside) and the game was amply passing him by yesterday until he nearly broke that kid's leg. We'll have Huddlestone back and if Gaston is fit, Meyler won't be missed much. I haven't seen us play as badly as that for a while, we just looked shagged and Swansea, a team that I consider to be round about our level, looked a class above. They keep the ball so well, while we resort to risky long range passes. They get crosses in AND play through the middle, while we rely solely on the former. They don't have midfielders who's job it is to "run around and make tackles but can't pass", they have quality players who stride forward with the ball and look to play in the striker. We played so well in a 4-5-1 against Chelsea, why the **** did Bruce change it to a formation that Swansea could exploit? The likes of Routledge and Ki tore us apart and Sigurdsson is a class act. That formation only works on teams that play narrow, which these days is barely anybody. We rely far too heavily on crosses from Elmo and Robertson/Brady which seems daft to me because when we do try and play through the middle we get into the box more. Can somebody also take the time to ask SB why we're so good at crossing and yet so **** at corners and free kicks? If the set piece isn't going to beat the first man at the near post, then shouldn't we stick somebody on the near post just in case it doesn't?
Tha That constant inability to beat the first man on set pieces is infuriating And it just continues game after game after game Surely they work on it!!!! Don't they?????
We used to carry a threat on corners but this season it's just like giving the opposition a goal kick
The last time we were dangerous from set pieces was when we had Michael Turner in the team, Chester/Davies haven't scored many from set peices at all.
What pecking order is that? An Internet forum leaderboard? The fact that you give enough of a **** to waste precious (you don't sound very young) seconds/minutes of your life replying to two ****s on numerous occasions on an Internet forum pretty much tells me this is the most entertainment you get in a week. I personally find far better things to do than chat back when I come across a ****. ;D Enjoy your pecking order, maybe not606 Can give you a medal and you can tell your grandchildren all About the day you called someone A **** on an Internet forum.
Lmao , I don't know what's saddest, you calling someone a prick without knowing what they've said or you trolling through 20 pages of match day thread following a night out
At the end of the day pushing the all out to a forward for a tap in isn't good keeping. It wasn't even a fierce shot
I don't understand why some of our fans dont seem to understand, that we acknowledge that we dont have any world class keepers and GK's cant get to every ball, we also know that our defence make mistakes and if a certain outfield player makes too many mistakes they are dropped, look at davies, ben arfa and huddlestone. Yet the fact is McGregor has made far too many Mistakes this season. I dont believe Jakupovic or Harper are any better in their ability but they wont make as many stupid errors as McGregor is making and for this reason he must be dropped, we cant afford mistakes, the premier league is hard enough. McGregor is a liabilty in goal and until now to the end of the season, Harper would be far more reliable and thats what we need right now....
