Other than the pen, I though Bellerin did really well against Sterling and basically had him in his pocket. One poorly timed tackle, but overall he had him where he wanted him.
http://sport.bt.com/owen-sterling-is-better-than-ozil-welbeck-91363973468903 well he clearly showed that today didn't he!
I loved being there today as it was a good all round performance. Thought Ozil was very good today and we could have had another 3 goals. will look closely at penalty decision when I get home as it looked debatable at best!
Looking at the Liverpool squad, and they have too many average players who shouldnt be playing for a club like Liverpool if they wan to go places, there's a whole bunch of them: -Toure -Moreno -Can -Sakho -Lucas -Allen -Balotelli -Lambert -Borini That's at least 9 players right there who are just average at best, and certainly not the type who are going to make you elite.
Been in Manchester all day and I was listening to BBC Five Live in the car, what a tremendous result! Expected a hard fought 2-1/1-0 win. Over the moon with a 4-1 victory against our top four rivals. Heck, I'm happy with a 4-1 win against any team! Such a shame we didn't show this earlier on in the season because we would have been title challengers for sure. Second and the FA Cup is a very realistic outcome for the season. I'd be relatively happy with that!
The best thing about this performance was that we finally saw Ozil,Alexis and Cazorla clicking and playing the sort of football we had hoped they would play since the start of the season, we tore Liverpool a new one with our combination play, all is looking well in Arsenal land at the moment.
True, and also we have an almost fully fit squad (IF kos and ramsey aren't injured), with not only people pushing our 1st teamers, but then players like arteta, wilshere, gnarby coming back to push the players on the bench! It was great seeing the players press together from the front, and turning defence into attack so fast...
Great win yesterday.. needless to mention again.. we tore Liverpool to shreds in the first half and should have had more goals. We controlled the game nicely in the second. Top performance.
Sterling is looking to escape from the sinking ship and most of their fans are now calling for Rodgers to be kicked out...
It's funny because some of the same Arsenal fans on here laughing at Liverpool were (this time last year) claiming Rodgers was doing a better job than Wenger.
He took a team from 7th to 2nd in the space of a season. Of course he was doing a better job than Wenger (at that point in time).
These are the same people who claimed we should also get owen coyle, Michael laudrup and steve clarke in place of wenger. Hell one clown even claimed we should get fat sam to replace wenger FFS.
