Although he only had 5 minutes I thought he showed up well. Got clattered made one safe pass made one exquisite pass on to the edge of the area. Very promising.
I've watched him in U21's v QPR recently and although nothing spectacular he did contribute to the winner with a cracking pass to Gorre .He's not raw and is used to playing against men more experienced and older than himself so it'll be interesting whether he can make the big step up playing at PL level .he certainly wasn't lacking any confidence when he came on yesterday that's for sure .
I have heard nothing but positives about young matt whether its from other people or from matt himself on how he is enjoying his life with the swans.....He will soon be on the verge of breaking into the first team as a regular....good signing.....
