Well, STH, I'd love too, but they just don't stare you in the face like Lady K. did today every day of the week, unfortunately. Really didn't think she'd outclass this field as much as that though, must admit. Cheers too, Smokey!

I've plumped for Valseur Lido against all logic and reasoning, his last win over CD resonates fondly in the memory and I will chance him today more in hope than confidence although hindsight may prove I should have stayed away.

I'd just like to award ride of the year to Adrian Heskin on The Tullow Tank.

The pace slowed by Ruby and the horse desperate to go on between fences, he sits in the pack allowing him to struggle for a turn of gear before motoring to get beat a half length.

    What a prize prick.

Shout Oddy. TTT finishing like a train too! Valseur over the top was never going really and I thought could have been PU after the third but persisted.

Good effort from Gillamboa though and a welcome back to form for TTT.

Good win for Gillamboa but had to laugh at commentator on ATR saying them skipping Cheltenham more than paid off! I wouldn't say winning a pop and crisp race in Ireland is a decent substitute for the festival

€60,000 for winning that. Would probably have only gained some place money at best at HQ!

I meant more for prestige really I wasn't thinking in terms of prize money but when you look at it that way €60,000 isn't too shabby

3rd not too bad I guess. No returns on my bet but a good run for Death Duty. Another Cyclone made an encouraging start also and will be one worth following. Some guy called Mullins took the bumper at 9/2 ... I hear he's good and one to follow, especially in the bumper sphere!!

Had already set off so didn't see these, the only one of them I backed was Debdebdeb which was useless, only had the 1 winner Apterix in the first which also won for me when at Fakenham a few weeks ago, cheers anyway was still a decent day out.

You do realise everybody is going to be looking for your Monday selection - it will end up odds on!

At least you did not switch sports and go with Murray in the tennis. Djokovic just kicked his butt again 7-6, 4-6, 6-0.
