Today's defeat of Swindon does not really change our promotion requirements. Previously we had such a significant goal difference over Swindon that we really only required 9 further points. However with MK Dons goal difference being only three different than ours we need 9 to guarantee promotion over them. I think we have the hardest run in fixtures.

The easiest way is to win our three home games.

Wouldn't want to leave it to the last game of the season, but in theory yes.

The Swindon game becomes massive, by winning, they cant get the points. Theory the other way is that if we beat Swindon and Preston, and both Preston and MK lose next Saturday, we are up!

We need 9 points to clinch promotion, Swindon need to win all their remaining games, which involves beating us and PNE. I know that is a huge task but I can't see them getting maximum points between now and May 3. MKD need the same but they need us to win 6 points in the remaining games to help them.

I'm not concerened about promotion as I see it we are there but for a **** load of IF's. My fear is winning the ****ing thing because I've never seen us win a league in my lifetime and just want to savour that feeling.

If (and it's currently a big if given we've reverted to being the draw specialists) we can beat Swindon and avoid defeat at PNE then the title should be ours.

Both games are huge asks. Swindon were very poor yesterday but they'll be up for it on Tuesday night.

But surely Mk are now the danger and look at their run in its by far the easiest. Having said that the whole thing is ours to lose. Happy days

MKD manager stated a couple games ago they were up for automatic promo "with 1 hard game to come and the easiest run in" well ...the hardest game was a 3-0 victory ! and they are now on their longest sequence of wins 3

The most Mk can get is 93 points (we have 85) and if they achieve that they will probably have a better goal difference than us. So the promotion task is straightforward 9 points from 6 games i.e. 9 from 18. If we don't get that then we don't deserve to go up.
The most Swindon can get is 94 points so avoiding defeat on Tuesday is vital.. If we draw we need another 8 points. Win and we another 6 for promotion
