Class to have proper racing on tomorrow! Short and sweet from me.

    Gitane du Berlais 4.20 Fairyhouse.
Backed this morning at 2/1. Has the winning of this race on collateral form through Irish Saint. Avoided a battle royal at Cheltenham when her main rivals tried to take on the wonderful Vautour. Ruby's pick over Valseur Lido and him in the saddle is another bonus. Wins <ok>

Interesting race I think. No way can Valseur beat Apache over this trip again. If you're options are riding a horse who definitely needs further or a horse who will receive over a stone in weight then it becomes quite an obvious choice. I'm not sure I want to choose anything against the Vautour and Don Poli form though so the bet for me is pretty clear. Apache Stronghold at 9/2 each way. Most of your money back if he places (which barring a fall he will) and a great chance of winning.

Good field assembled for the Fairyhouse bumper and a few nice types on paper at least. The one I'm on is Death Duty at 5/1 for the Giggy operation. Will take a good 'un to beat him.

PASS THE TIME 3:40 Plumpton 7/1 for Dickie and Mulholland, that'll do!

It does look a tasty bumper with Barizan's half brother and Hidden Cyclones full brother in the field. Don Cantillon doesn't mess around in these events and when he sends over to take on the Irish you know its smart so keep an eye on MAJESTIC TOUCH.

Yeah, Cantillons one caught the eye alright stick, he usually doesn't waste time so a good run has to be expected. I also think Hidden Cyclone won a bumper (I think) so Another Cyclone will be of definite interest for the future regardless of tomorrow.

I see Mullins' runner is owned by Pearl Bloodstock, would this be their first with him or am I having a senior moment!?

    FAIRYHOUSE

DOUBLE 10/1 - Shaneshill (3.20pm & Petite Periseane (3.50pm getting plenty of weight from the fav )
APACHE STRONGHOLD 9/2 EW - price is very fair given he has only been beaten by the two favourite's for next year's gold cup. I think Carbery will definately get him into a place and has every chance to win.

Also on that bumper stick, it's the bumper that this year's Champion Bumper winner Moon Racer won last year at 50/1 before being sold on.

His trainer then, Michael Ronayne has another runner in Knuckle Duster tomorrow at large odds again...He couldn't ...could he

Apache Strongholds biggest fan but unfortunately I think this comes too soon for all Cheltenham runners and therefore I quite like THE TULLOW TANK at 10/1, as he has gradually been working his way back to form and comes here a fresher horse than most. I think he has the potential to step forward on his form whereas Valseur and Apache really ought to be just past their peak for the season with Cheltenham now out of the way.

I see joseph is riding again over hurdles - MARCHESE MARCONI actually stands a good chance was unlucky to bump in to Martello Tower but does look on a lenient handicap

My main fancy BITOFAPUZZLE is back in to novice company after a very good run in the Mares Hurdle at Cheltenham which was only her 4th hurdles start. She holds the best form in the field including a GR2 win at ascot earlier in the year beating Caroles Spirit, she has already beaten PIRATES QUEEN this season add to the fact she will love the conditions she will be very hard to beat if Cheltenham has taken too much out of her but the same could be said for a couple of her rivals which is why I have gone for her!

Good shout that Bob. I really do have a soft spot for VL though. Going to sleep on it and decide in the morning.

    Morning all!!

Some cracking races over in Ireland today but the one I fancy today runs in the 3:45 Plum - THE GREEN OGRE 16/1

Finished 2nd in this race last year and although it won over C/D in December, it hasn't done a great deal and runs in this off a 12lb lower mark than last year.

It's possible that this is a better race than last year and the yard seemingly have a better chance with the other bottom weight, but I'm willing to take a small risk that this is the one to be on at the prices. Eway bet for me.

I've also chosen 3 at Fairyhouse that I will be punting and also made up a Lucky 15...

    3:20 - THE PIRATES QUEEN 6/1
    3:50 - OUTLANDER 9/2
    4:20 - APACHE STRONGHOLD 4/1

    Good luck all!!

I'm not sure how much use these are to you but here's my effort through the card at Sedgefield:

    2:00 (1) Idlewild 4/1
    2:35 (5) Major Ivan 7/1
    3:05 (11) Saddle Pack 8/1
    3:35 (1) Debdebdeb 2/1
    4:05 (1) Dica 2/1
    4:40 (7) Kings Chorister 10/1
    5:15 (3) Bannys Lad 3/1

I'll be doing the placepot and also backing them in various multiple. Enjoy your day

You have put some stunning info on here in the past and good luck with this one. This horse was second in the same race last year, beaten a short head, which is a positive but races off a higher mark this year and Graham Lee is replaced by the trainers daughter! Should be fit from a hurdles campaign although NH form has been uninspiring!
