If it was agreed at the last FWG meeting and the promise has not been fulfilled then at the next FWG meeting organise a walk out in protest and make sure the press know about it. It's despicable behaviour from the club.
Someone contacted RH the week before last asking if the station had heard any news of how the money was going to be used.RH contacted the club and its response was that details would be announced shortly. Wonder what the club's definition of shortly is?Surely they've had plans in place for some time.
I was told specifically during the week that there would be freebies of scarfs, t-shirts and flags. There was nothing.
Its a disgrace even the stewards on tiger travel knew nothing of it n only one coach going southampton next week
no worrys they is a lot of pissed off fans at the minute 486 of us made an effort today the club should show some reward
So this a whole freebie thing was started by Muffin. What was your source Muff? By that I mean who? Fair play though you got everyone else on here believing it was fact. The club never announced a thing. Just Muff.
You, me, OLM and others have been enquiring about this for weeks now. All since he promised an update 'by the end of the week' at the last meeting. I don't think it's James' fault though. Seems obvious that his hands are tied. The owners don't like us and don't want to us to see the money. The instruction to James will be along the lines of 'make something up'.
Whose fault do you think it is that the club repeatedly can't answer the question when asked how it will be spent. and miss their own deadlines to update us? Whose fault is it that the club chooses to tell some fans individually, but ignores others asking the same question, and refuse to say anything publicly at all, despite promising to and putting timescales on it?
I told you Allam had pocketed the money but as usual you chose to see some good in the **** - all he has left is free tickets and free travel to Tottenham - cant wait for the rush for that offer -
I asked JM if any of the ASI money was going to be spent on subsidised tickets as he had not given us any updates after the last FWG. He told me the club would not spend on tickets or travel but were looking at freebies and possibly subsidised food. I was expecting he would let all FWG members know so specifically asked him about Swansea and he told me they had spent on t-shirts, flags and scarfs. I assumed this was a done deal so posted it. As nothing was done I presume JM has a good reason. Why Happy wants to defend the club on this is beyond me.
Any chance of finding out why the club won't spend money on tickets or travel from a fund which was supposed to help with cost of tickets and travel?
It's all been asked before and James literally couldn't answer it. He's obviously being put in an incredibly difficult position. Barmby was made to lie, Nick Thompson was made to lie. Now JM's job is to string us along because the owners want to make a point but as usual their weapon of choice is deceit and cover ups.
We were told at the FWG meeting that subsidised travel costs the club money because of people not turning up. We all asked for subsidised tickets, JM told the group that he would put that forward to his superiors but later told me he could not get this authorised. As far as I know he reports to Ehab, so I can only draw my own conclusions.
So he never specifically said it was going to happen? You just assumed then presented it as a done deal. Seriously, this is laughable. The usual suspects got excited about being able to whinge like bitches about it, then when it didn't happen, still whinge like bitches.
Read the ****ing post again. I asked him specifically about what was being spent from the ASI fund at Swansea, he told me t-shirts, flags and scarfs. His words, not mine.
How can it cost the club money? If they have paid for 10 coaches carrying 50 people that is 500 people in 10 coaches. If 450 turn up that is 5 less in each coach but still 10 coaches. If 250 turn up and each coach only carries 25 people it is still the 10 coaches. The cost to the club is no different. They are getting no money from the passengers so no income therefore how do they lose money if people don't turn up?
