Just tried to read this thread....after several posts i gave up.. far to long replies, and my ignorance knows nowt about it/

This thread has had positives for me too. I used to go around commenting on everything and anything but seeing all this has made me take a step back and have a look around.
The politics thread for example, I thought it was a nothing subject but having realised there's people passionate about it has made me question how offensive I may/will/definitely have been with my off the cuff comments regarding it
I promised myself not to do politics on this board but I can't help it. You'll notice I rarely post on off topic threads. I don't want to upset anyone through ignorance when I clearly don't know enough about the subject. I read though if it interests me. Some clever dogs on this board isn't there?

Using your logic mate is easy to win your argument, the fact is many GP's can and do help people get over mental health problems. It's by no means perfect or even good, but whilst pharma companies make the money off live saving drugs there's always gonna be a black hole where mental illness is concerned. I've never met a mentally ill person who has a complete inability to think rationally at some stage of their day, the fact is, this pilot had a choice to make a rational decision and he purposely flew the plane into a mountain, the fact that his mental state is being accredited to that decision is astounding to me, the guy was a killer and I would have no doubt that the exercise was pre meditated and he made the choice to end other peoples life not just his own.
