New revamped TV series starts tonight on ITV - tbh I seldom watch television nowadays, though I'll be viewing this tonight - hoping it will be as good as the original and somewhat nostalgic 1960's episodes. Certainly makes me feel old remembering the first shows.

I think it's a joke and walks all over the dying art of puppetry. I think it's sad and won't be watching it. Just another classic revamped and ruined out of a laziness and a reluctance to create something new and original.

The film sets and most of the background scene settings are built and modelled from scratch made from recycled components such as washing machines, kitchen utensils and board circuitry etc then filmed with the computer-generated imagery superimposed - I'll be giving it the benefit of doubt before I write off not watching it :emoticon-0148-yes:- it was my favourite tv programme as a kid :emoticon-0103-cool:

I was a massive fan of all the Anderson animations and Thunderbirds was up there with the best...I will be watching this tonight..
For the record, I have heard that the voice of Parker is the same bloke who done the original voice...I wonder how old he is now?

It is due to start over here next week ande I suppose it is just another step to disposing with actors as they improve CGI.
