I got distracted while the live race was on, just catching up with the finish on itv+1.
    Anyone got the overall stats?

    Try this:

There's a way into the complete position listing - easily spotted.

elrooj, have finally decided on the colour scheme for the Hetchins. It will be black and amber as I said before but now the handle bar tape is amber, with black body except for the red bits in the picture which will be amber and the lug lining will be amber too. Not long now!

I just love that old name - HETCHINS - brings it all back.

Incidentally, what paint are you gonna use (spray or brush), cos I might re-do the Raleigh. Got it all cleaned up now, and one of the old local 'rouleurs' has donated a pair of alloys, with tyres and tubes, to the cause. It'll be assembled out of finds and strip-downs, but I'll be able to ride it. One of the geezers has even given me a chassis/wheels/towbar to make a trailer (= 5 mls to supermarket, and/or carry my dog!). Every time I bump into 'em in the local, it's "When you getting that ol' bike on the road then?"

I've been looking at using Argos Racing Cycles, they've got some really good quality paints. I'm waiting for their price.

Love the idea of your dog sitting in a trailer as you cycle along, great image!

Is that Argos as in the store? Got a link to a site/catalogue?

Thanks - can you buy the paints from them? Or are you getting your frame done by them?

I'm cheating and getting it professionally done. The bike's 50 next year and I'd like to get it back in pristine condition so it will last another 50 years (and be passed on like it was to me).

I've got a plan for next summer from Horsham to Paris over a few days with a cycling mate on the Hetchins.
