I watched it. First half he wasn't even in the game on the left. Second half he was put behind the striker and became more prominent and scored a decent goal. One thing that was a bit concerning was his constant attitude if somebody else took a shot and missed instead of passing to him (on more than one occasion this happened - I get the kid wants to do well but lose the attitude towards your teammates when doing it).

Decent goal but if he had missed I would have asked why he didnt pass as there were 3 players on his team in the box and at least one of them was not marked.

It's more to do with Derby losing Chris Martin for those 12 games.

In his defence, aren't a lot of strikers greedy and never pass. Reading Keith Edwards book he seemed to have the same attitude and he didn't do too bad really getting the odd goal or two.

I think Ince needs to change his surname and dump his hanger on, then maybe more will take him seriously, but then a lot of people have already said that anyway, so i am just agreeing with those fine chaps.

It would be good if he could bring some of his goal scoring prowess back to City when he returns. If he scores a couple of goals like that then he would be a lot better thought of (until Clown Shoe father takes another career management decision of course). Maybe needs to bulk up a little so he can ride a few challenges, but then what do i know, i will get back to painting the walls.

In all fairness to ince when he did play here we tried to use him as a striker which he isn't , a change of formation and I think ince could do a job at this level
