There's plenty of room for the club's name, but as discussed on the other thread with you and others, experience, particularly from the larger Cobb Morley banner, shows that too much text detracts from the effect of the image. , which is after all the key point. We all know who they played for, it's why they're there.

The concensus was to go with a bigger image and less text.

If you'd like something different to the ones the forum decided on, I'm pretty sure mauled could help you out if you drop him a PM.

I could put Hull City on, as already mentioned, the issue would be it would need to be smaller so you see the players name clearly from as much of the ground as possible, and you probably wouldn't make out the smaller wording and or reducing the size of the text for the players name. That sounds wrong but I hope you understand what I'm trying to get at

There's room for anything you want, but the less text the more visible it will be. As I've said I'll put anything on that people want

I meant to mention this when you put it, but all contributions are appreciated.

Times are very tight at the moment, so I can understand many people just don't have spare money, no matter how much they'd like to contribute.

It's a fans initiative, if money is tight, don't go short to contribute cash, you can still be a part of it by making a choice and having an opinion on the design.

Of course, if you have got cash....<laugh>

Just out of interest, if it's not a silly question, how much are we looking to raise?

It's £100 per banner. Looking at the number of nominations, I think we could go for an eternity.

My view is, we keep going until the donations or mauled's time runs out or we run out of volunteers to care for them.

It could even be a case that someone suggests an alternative that the board prefers, so it switches to that. Or, people could tire of the whole thing and it will end itself.

Ultimately, posters on here will decide.

I'm not sure if that waffle answers the question? <laugh>

First question, Do you have a paypal account? If you do not, then dont try to login, if you do and it wont login then ignore the link and login through the regular paypal homepage and send the donation to [email protected] and in the comments put "not606 Banner Fund"

If you do not have paypal then try this link. https://www.paypal.com/uk/cgi-bin/w...63663d3faee8d96f000117187ac9edec8a65b311f447e

If it still wont work let us know what the error is or take a screen shot of the error.

How long does it take Mauled to do one of these? Maybe we should reward that time effort and skill.

    I don't know.

Rolf Harris used to rattle one out during the commercial break.

He could still manage a couple of big paintings during the programme too.
