Now there is an actual offer on the table it gives everyone involve a chance to discuss the terms of a pay off. This may or may not suit all parties but to have any chance of shifting Jimmy B than he has to be fit. There was no advantage to leaving leaving him behind. As OLM has pointed out, counting chickens at this stage is not a good idea.

If this is true then we are a better footballing team at a stroke.

He does have the capabilities to take us to the prem.

what games are people referring too when they say he wasnt interested last season?....im pretty sure i saw every game he played, and dont think i saw him give the ball away once..i remember my main disappointement, being that when given good receptions from the fans he was often reluctant to applaud back, and seemed like he couldnt wait to get off the pitch, but while he was playing, i thought he stood out head and shoulders above everybody, despite being played out of position most the time...

Not sure if Jimmy WANTS to stay, in fact I seriously doubt it.

But, if he does a professional job, then the chance is still there for him to get back to the PL, with him in the squad plus the keepers and Ayala then we could actually win this division..

It's not just me, I get the feeling the players think City are on the up & they want to play for NP.

AP has already stated City can budget for Bullard even if we'd rather not, so not impossible however it's still unlikely.

I don't read anything into the Slovenia trip, naturally Bullard has to be fit, sitting out won't help his cause at all.

I think most people would point to the Wigan cup game, where he didn't really look interested at all.

It would be fair to say that Jimmy was not alone in looking disinterested that night. <laugh>

Lets hope NP is big enough to realise he made a mistake and embrace the good JB can do for us. Im actually getting excited about the season now with the thought of JB playing for us, either that or im thinking of 797's meat pie.

Well this saga has taken a whole new turn lol

Either way city can only benefit, a fit and up for it Jimmy, or 45k to spend on new players!!

if jimmys up for it he can bring a new level of morale to the team, building on an already great team spirit, thats what got us up the first time, our team was even in the top 6 player for player.

Unless someone has an inside track on this...........? we just don't know do we.

Although I don't think anyone at the KC has a clue how this will end; there are so many possibilities and since Jimmy does not have an agent there is no-one with any sense for them to talk to,

All this must go down as the most intriguing episode in football. Certainly the saga of Jimmy this and Jimmy that is now a big part of our history. Roll on the next chapter.

    God are you listening!!

in the case of Jimmy B, i've always said I wanted him to play, because if he plays and plays well then it puts him in the shop window and we might get some money for him

i for one am a wee bit torn cause as much as I loathe all his posturing and 'just wanna play' statements, he has so much ability and potential. i remember watching his comeback game vs derby at the KC and he bossed it, was involved in everything, gave us a new look/dimension and didn't shirk one tackle.

in my opinion a loved and wanted jimmy is a player who can make the difference, look how they raved about taraabt and i think we could all admit to seeing flashes of jimmy that make adel look like carlton palmer!

who knows how AP and NP will play it though and as for slovenia, is it a case of keep your friends close but your enemies closer???
