Our bench is going to be abysmal for this game

We can't really afford to draw this game even, as unlikely as a win maybe we need to try get the three points, 1 point is as useful as 0 points from this game. All or nothing game, every remaining game is.

 

one point is always better than zero!

 

Losing to United makes this game huge now.

 

all games are worth the same points... but giving utd another 3 points in effect has created a scenario where we have to hope for a lot of luck to come our way very shortly.

we have to beat arsenal to have much hope of catching them as well.

I'd focus on catching arsenal never mind utd in the context of this game.

 

Not only this game. The pundits' predictions for CL final placings have been based on the Mancs having a nightmare 5 really tough matches out of 10. And based on the mancs getting only 1 or 2 points from the Spurs, LFC, City, Chelsea, and Arsenal games. And us getting 3 points from our match against them. I really think now that they may get a point or more from their remaining 3 tough matches.

And that means we need to try to catch Arsenal too and that starts from a win next Saturday.

 

manc took 6 out of 6 so far in "hard" games so we have to give the props for that. utd have the potential to at least draw those 3 and/or win some so they have improved radically since mata came in and rooney moved up. van gaal lucked out with injury to rvp imo.

Falcao is not right so I wonder who utd will buy as front line striker

80 mil on Ronaldo seems a bit strong given he is 30 but I'm sure rooney will be happy to go back to dcm to accommodate and mata will be happy on then bench again

 

Hope its not to embarrassing on Saturday. Wonder if Lucas will get a start bearing in mind all our injuries/bans.
