If you don't know what the name represents, I can see why you don't understand the name change argument.
oh I get it, you want me to talk about something emotive. you want me to tell you about how my grandad took me to BP when I was knee high to a grasshopper to see Hull City. WELL that would be all well and good if we were still playing at BP, but were at the KC now, everything changes - shame some of you weren't quite so vocal when we left BP.
Dear uncle Ben , I think I have the definitive answer to your eight questions. 1. Non 2. Non 3. No benefit 4. What benefits 5. Never 6. It's a silly idea, plus they probably don't have a major sulk on with their respective councils 7. No it's c**tish 8. Mmm, this is the one I really disagree with Hope this helps
That's not really what I was after, but I was vocal to protect the club and all it represents when it looked like we could be being forced out of BP and even existence by the actions of criminals, but on another later occasion I could see it made sense for Hull City to move to a nice new home.
I do know for sure, there is no business plan, just a load of rambling nonsense. Asians are not going to start supporting a club just because it has Tigers in its name, it's both patronising and insulting to Asian football fans to suggest they will. Even if it wasn't complete nonsense, it still wouldn't generate money, as sponsors won't want to be involved in a club being mocked by the rest of the football fraternity and shirt sales in Asia are non-existent for all but the top ten clubs in Europe. It being a stupid idea is very much a reason not to try.
OK.. I am just not that bothered. it will still be my team. they can call themselves The Ballet Daning Muppets for all I care. If it brings us sucess on the pitch. <shrug>
Concede? I never claimed we weren't, so there's nothing to concede. You're comparing two totally different things. One had good reasons and clear benefits and was done in consultation with the fans, the other...
Anyone reading your posts could be forgiven for doubting that, but it's imaterial to understanding what the club represents.
The reason you don't know for sure is no reason not to try. You know what i meant. Anyway second point sitting on the fence might help or not. It could be said that indesision is bad thing, in some situations making no desision will allways be the wrong thing to do, but if you get off the fence you have a 50 50 chance of being right.
"The reason you don't know for sure is no reason not to try. You know what i meant." NO I'm sorry you've lost me. I tried to follow. too many negatives in that sentence - I know what a double negative does but a TRIPLE confuses even me. onto your second point. I would rather be a fence sitter, and see what would happen, all that has been put forward is emotive superficial arguments.
