    Rumour in the air that there is going to be an announcement soon, that i doubt as nothing that is 'rumour' happens but is it wishful thinking that FCB has sold up. I mean it could explain no transfer outlay as he wants to pocket AC cash as he is nearly selling the club. It would make sense but MA just pocketing the cash would also make sense.

    Thanks everyone for doing their part...and I'll reiterate, this is ****ing stupid.
    The smell of Newcastle Brown is in the air 'round here too, but that doesn't mean the brewery is coming back.

    I felt so lied to when I found out back home that Newcastle Brown wasn't brewed in Newcastle anymore, and then so surprised when it isn't on draught over here (still is for the foreign market).

    The only beer that should be brewed in Tadcaster is Samuel Smith's (mmm good stuff it is)

    Although I think this rumour is either a) untrue or b) hugely exaggerated people shouldn't be shooting the messenger. It came from the Newcastle United Sky fanzone fella - amd not one of these daft ITKs - and he seemed genuine. So although if be surprised if it was anything major, there could be an ounce of truth in it.

    That said if it is something I'd bet it's a real anti-climax like Simpson getting a 5 year deal as a reward for backing off his man for 2 seasons...
