Swansea City have a stadium 20% smaller than ours, they are 21% fan owned, they are coasting mid table, they have no debt and they are profitable. That's what we should be aspiring to, not some nonsense name change that is more likely to reduce income than increase it.
I have asked this before, but why not give the trust a realistic opportunity to evolve? It might seem laudable taking on many issues and drafting in extra support, but the senior team (if that is appropriate) will be held responsible should someone cock- up: slowly, slowly, catchee monkee.
No I wasn't, Tigers has always been part of our history as well, but there are some thick idiots out there who now decide that any use of the word Tiger around the club is wrong. Doesn't our history mean anything to you?

I trust a man who has built a company from scratch and made it into a multi million pound company and made himself a fortune, I don't think that happens by accident do you? The same man that has brought in our most successful manager and guided us back to the Premier League when at one point we didn't look like we'd have a club at all. If I'm going to put my faith in that man, or a bunch of ungrateful people who don't appreciate what the man has done for the club and City, then I think it's an easy decision whose side I'm gonna be on don't you.
CityClit The same man who has run the SMC into so much debt that he wants to give it away? If only the football business was the same as selling generators, we'd be a, ok.
I have as good as walked away mate. Whilst this uncaring t**t is in charge my motivation for going has well and truly waned.
I agree, changing names for no reason other than spite is very childish indeed. Now what were you discussing again? Oh I remember you were defending the owner of our football club in his attempt to change it's name for no other reason but spite. Carry on.
Philip Buckingham @PJBuckingham May 19 looks most likely date for FA Council to vote again on #hcafc name change. No June meeting, July too late?
They're not his customers. They don't come to see Assem Allam they come to watch Hull City. If he sold it tomorrow they would still come. If he sold it to somebody who put more money in and expanded the stadium the numbers coming to City would increase if we stayed in the Premier League.
They're coming in spite of him, not because of him, 3,000 season ticket holders didn't renew last season and that number will increase again for next season. Football fans will take an enormous amount of **** before they stop supporting their team, no other business has such loyal customers.
he didn't build it from scratch - he asset stripped an existing business and part of it went into administration and control taken away from him because it went bust - he messed up Ruscador - took out loans and inherited a shed load from his dad from Egypt - even though his original lie was that he sold up and was given fake dollars - remember when he tells you something there is a chance it's a load of pop (pile of pish)
