How many do u reckon we will take to swansea away i purchased a ticket last week n recieved ticket number 76 any rkn we will take more then 100 fans?
You do wonder if the club actually wants fans at games sometimes. Swansea & Southampton are the longest away trips all season and the club are doing nothing to help get fans there, no ticket subsidy, no free travel, nothing!
I went last season on a Monday night and there was well over 100 fans there, so on a Saturday I would probably expect between 500 - 1000. I reckon nearer 500 though.
It's a great ground! Nice little pub/bar right outside, I was in there drinking pints right up until I had to head in. Friendly fans too, was chatting to won who was pleading that Danny Graham not score, and sure enough he did.
Was a great turn out considering the time slot. Definitely my favourite away day experience, the fans were great that night.
Yes we spent a lot of it subsidising Chelsea fans tickets on Saturday, and the rest will go on subsidising Man U, Arsenal and Liverpool fans.
We don't know what's happened to it yet, we're still waiting for the club to give us details. We were promised details by Friday, then on Saturday we were told it would be by Monday, but we're still waiting.
Tiger Travel have two coaches going to Swansea. If only someone had given us some money to help fund more travelling fans...
I'm going. A new ground for me, the 119th different league ground I've seen us play on and very likely my last away day following City.
Purely because if the name changes I'm definitely gone, and if the Allams are still here next season even if the name isn't changing, I will very likely not bother. Going to watch my team, especially away, used to be a great day out. They have drained all the enthusiasm out of us.
Yep, pretty much how I feel. I already don't go to home games so as not to give him any money but I am finding myself just not caring any more. I'm tired, tired of the inevitability of our owner doing something really really ****ty every few weeks and it has just chipped away. It's like the girlfriend who starts off doing these little things that annoy you but you put up with it cos you love her but then these things get bigger and more frequent to the point where you just cant stand to face her anymore. I've seen some horrendous teams take to the pitch under our name, truly horrendous players like Tony Brien, John French, David Jones, Scott Thompson, Steve Hawes and the like but I was always enthusiastic. 'Next week will be better' I said to myself, 'and if we can just then get to the end of the season and rebuild we'll be fine....' Cos at least it felt like they weren't deliberately trying to alienate us then. Even David Lloyd in his mentalness didn't want to drive his customers away. But with these Allams plural it honestly is as if they sit around every few weeks and come up with a master plan of how to divide and drive away the very fans who have been there through the mill a thousand times or more as they dreamt of being in the very position on the pitch that we are now. And it's a shame, a real shame. It wasn't meant to be like this.
I had to go to Hull yesterday and I'd planned on popping in to collect a couple of Swansea tickets and surprising junior, but I drove straight past the KC instead. After the name change application announcement yesterday and the withholding of the ASI money that should have been used for this game, I decided not to bother.
It's a massive shame that a game as big as this will have such a little following but what does Allam expect? He's pushing us all away. It's ridiculous the ASI money wasn't used to fund this game like it was last season. This and Southampton (plus Palace if any left) should have had cheaper tickets or cheaper travel.
