I still giggle at OLM,s April Fools joke a few years back when he made a story up about some one, then asked us to click on a facebook link to see if we knew them, after clicking on the link it brought you to your own FB page. He got me hook line and sinker. He got some right comments on the thread.
I'd completely forgotten about that, it was funny, I nicked off the Millwall board on here. Even after the joke had been explained, people were still going mental about me posting their Facebook details.
I found that this is NOT an April Fool's joke but it is something I am still trying to get my head round: please log in to view this image
This puts into context the stupidity of Allam's idea. https://m.facebook.com/stjohnstonefootballclub?refsrc=http://t.co/eO3mlFxcCq ST. JOHNSTONE TO BE RE-NAMED 'PERTH PANTHERS' FOR NEXT CAMPAIGN Following ongoing talks, the club have decided to 're-brand' St. Johnstone for the 2015/16 season with an entirely new name. From June the club will be re-named Perth Panthers to, for the first time, include the name of the team's home city. Perth Panthers was also the name of the ice hockey club that used to play at the old ice rink beside Muirton Park. A club spokesperson said: "An exciting new name change is just the tool we need to promote the club within Perth to new supporters. It will also end the confusion of where St. Johnstone is on the map for visiting fans." St. Johnstone are now in talks with the Scottish FA to have 'Perth Panthers' inscribed on the Scottish Cup for season 2013/14.
