Spurs salvage some pride for Roy's sorry England

Discussion in 'The Premier League' started by Hoddle is a god, Apr 1, 2015.

  1. Walker, Mason, Townsend, and the Hurricane.

Without Spurs, England are no better than San Marino.

    PS: No wumming, please.

How does Townsend get into the England team? He's so one dimensional (not literally) very one footed, can run fast, technically limited, terrible decision making, no vision and can't pass the ball.

Think I just answered my own question.

I don't really care I'm Welsh therefore I'm doomed to us crashing out in a playoff on pens.

  5. What Wales would give to have those 4 Spurs lads in their side!

  7. Yes, Ozzie, he did.

    Was Chelski represented?

If Walker gets picked, England are at the level of San Marino.

  9. He's England's best right-back. You cannot argue with that, Little Luke, as unpalatable as that may be.

Yes we was old boy but the manager thought he'd give 'Phil I'm useless Jagielka' a game. After all it was a friendly hence why MK got a game.

Better than Clyne? Not for me.

In all honesty, not for me either. Walker is an exceptional athlete and a talent, but until he takes better positions he will be a liability. His pace gets him out of messes of his own creation sometimes.
Neither Cahill or Jagielka are up to much imo, but Jagielka actually had a good game on Tuesday.

As much as it's the best squad we've had in decades they would certainly improve it.

He does rely on his pace too much and as soon as that pace is matched by the opposition he's right in the ****.

Agreed. His limitations were cruelly exposed at the last W.C.

Agree, Walker's pace makes him look better than he is. Terrible defender and Clyne is twice the player.
