Oh dear, Oh dear, is that what you are going to say to Hull City fans that don't agree with your point of view in the Hull City Supporters Trust??? Like I say, NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE. As for TigerCalv, he never offered you out, so there's another lie, but the point I was referring to was where you claimed not to be encouraging abuse when you are dishing it out yourself.
I don't dispute that. But I do believe the onus is on a group that implies it represents fans to demonstrate how it can prove it does that at on a number of issues raised by fans. Rightly or wrongly, there's a perception that the committee have their agenda, and members are there to show support by showing numbers rather than an intrinsic part of the decision making process. It feels like any questioning of the Trust is met with hostility, when in reality, it should be encouraged.
We did actually have a camera at our last meeting and every intention of sorting the photos for the site, but the meeting ran late and there were a couple of people missing, so we didn't bother. To be honest, it's not very high on our list of priorities, you can always google us if you want to see what we look like, but I'll warn you now, it's not pretty.
Do you realise how much of a sad, pathetic & gormless **** you're coming across as? You've offered nowt, all day, but bullshit & bollocks. When found out you've set about other posters with lies & personal insults yet here you are wrongly accusing others, as usual, of doing exactly what you do yourself. Like I said, sad, pathetic & gormless ****.
To me the Trust has to work on a number of policies however the one of most concern at the moment is our bombastic, arrogant buffoon of an owner & his ongoing attempt to put two fingers up at Hull City Council while causing disharmony amongst the fans by trying to change the name (again) As far as I'm concerned at the moment I'm quite happy for the Trust to have a single policy on it's agenda.....maintaining the historic name of the club I'm now starting to hope we are relegated this season as all the bullshit about global marketing goes out of the window....the rest of the world doesn't give a **** about any football team outside the Premiership
To be fair Assem and his son, Ehab, should be well proud of their accomplishments; it's not often a Bellend and a Scrote can sit in different chairs and share the core same DNA - they really are outstanding pricks. A weak joke, sorry, but it really does amaze me that they seem to share all of the same characteristics as Happy, and the other cronies, in that they will say anything, no matter how daft, just to get a rise. Or so it would appear. there is a huge void between cleverness, wisdom and integrity; they are all very independent facets of character.
I can understand that, but it begs the question of why change from a single issue group, to a trust with one issue. There should be scope to draw in more active members to handle the other fans issues while the existing members crack on with the name change. More people involved helping more people can surely only be a good thing? The workload argument's been offered before, without a request for help then either. It leaves a perception of the tail wagging the dog, or the issues aren't deemed important enough for the trust. Neither are healthy views for people to have. To be fair, it only takes a read of some of the replies from posters on here to see why there are often what seem to be dismissive or defensive replies from the trust. But it's self fuelling. It's sad because I would like a strong fans group, and a frank debate should help that. Those just hurling personal abuse are helping to polarise fans.
Are you being deliberately dense here? What matters is the success the team has. So a name change is not what brings in fans or revenues so changing it thinking this would do so is something only a stupid person would do and that equally stupid people would support doing. Do you think if Man Utd have a few years of non achievement and their income drops worldwide that changing their name to Manchester Devils or something equally stupid would bring people and revenues flocking back? Or that winning a couple of titles, success in Europe and a few cups may be more beneficial?
So tell me then how can we increase revenue when the stadium is mostly full for most games what would you like see the prices going up ? It doesn't matter how successful we are we are limited to the amount of revenue we get because of limited capacity of the stadium.
And changing the name would solve these problems? Of course it won't. There has been no evidence given it would increase revenues. Then, if we go down, the problems really start. The PL fans will disappear and a lot ofthe ones who had previously supported City through thick and thin will have been driven away and crowds will be a lot less than the last time we were out of the top flight.
I think he is less of a cock and that's the problem These are the most sensible words I have read on this thread. You are right, Chazz, he has been consistent from the on-set, he has maintained the same objective throughout, he has also maintained the same deceitful and insulting tactics against supporters who do not share his view, but, strangely, also against any supporter, regardless of their view. Granted, some of us recognised his straits from very early on and we, well me anyways, didn't really like him from the get-go. It is his level of consistency that drives me to remind folk that it is a similar level of consistent truth and openness that will defeat his destructive policies. Thanks for highlighting this. Edit: On-set of his declaration of name-change.
