    how many is so many?

There's no poor form about it. Our average attendances have gone up this season, I do believe yours has gone down. A few hundred tickets still kicking about means nowt. Both sides are ****e, the worrying policing tactics, required purchase history and it being the biggest family bank holiday weekend out side the Christmas period could all be factors, but a few 100 tickets is nowt.

Many families keeping away from this one from fear of the utter trash that follow your club and cause trouble...The change in the policing has all but guaranteed trouble, as for some strange reason they are expecting Newcastle fans to behave in the same dignified manner as Sunderland fans do when travelling through your place..
Sorry if this upsets the decent supporters, but the large number of scum that follow Newcastle represent you all..

I witnessed first hand some of your "fans" behaving in a very undignified manner earlier this season at our place. Yes, we do have an unruly element unfortunately, same as every club. To suggest that this mob represent the vast majority of Newcastle fans is a bit daft. Of course you're entitled to your opinion, even more so than myself on your board, but you certainly have an unruly section yourself. There will be many of your fans looking to attack Newcastle fans, same as every season. You can't deny that surely?

Is it actually a few hundred tickets though? As according to Twitter every time a couple hundred get sold there are a few hundred more being made available. Derbies should sell out regardless, a derby that you need to win to avoid risking dropping into the bottom 3 in the last leg of the season, even more so.
Sorry but I can't go along with that mate. Do Newcastle have our fair share of idiots? Certainly. Do we have more than our fair share? Probably. But I just can't see that as a reason for people not buying a ticket, that's just an excuse. Nowt to stop people heading to the ground after 2pm when all the Newcastle lot are safely inside the stadium.

As it's Easter I thought it may not sell out at all, lots of people take their kids away at Easter.

You're obviously not going .......... I'd be surprised if the police put the away supporters in the ground 2 hours before kick off <doh>

I think we should have a procession through the streets of Sunderland if a handful of tickets aren't sold.

    Fair play <laugh>
The 5-1 was a sellout. The attendance was marginally below 52k I believe due to the extra partitioning space between the home and away fans. And I meant 3pm.

    It's a 4pm kick off

Anyway, why do you believe there'll be time, after the away support is in, for thousands to queue up and get in on time?
Do you really believe the Newcastle supporters will all be in an hour before kick off?

And why should decent Sunderland people have to make arrangements to avoid Newcastle idiots when they're at home?

Yes, which is why I said that I meant 3pm <doh>

Most people who go to the stadium over an hour before kick off will be in the concourse drinking, I daresay that it's not families with young kids, it'll be lads who I highly doubt are scared of opposition fans causing a fuss. Thousands of fans queue and get in on time week in week out, why would this game be any different?

And I've never said they should have to, but if the alternative is failing to fill your stadium because some just don't bother turning up then...

    That's such a powerful argument <ok>

Fact is, it will be a sell out which means this argument is just aimless piffle .............

I've been following it as I have my season seat on stubhub and want to get face value if at all possible. That statement is an extradition, sporadic singles are been made available, quite likey as a result of relocation due to their still being seats together on the premier concourse, people buying late still get the chance to sit with friends and family be getting them to relocate. It may sell out, it may not, it's not the be all for me, I'll just be a little bit out of pocket, more interested in what's going on on the pitch. I seem to remember Albert harping on about it being our cup final every season(despite us actually having a cup final that season), it must mean the opposite if you're selling out derbies and we're not. I may remind him if we don't, it will be beeling in his eye's of course. Their lack of intelligence restricts them distinguishing piss taking from biting. :p

You getting to the game fella?

The 'terms & conditions' of the Mag board.

    1. Any visitor posting there has been 'reeled in'.
    2. Any visitor saying he hasn't been reeled in, but simply posting, is deemed to be 'beeling'.
    3. Any visitor politely explaining he isn't 'beeling' is imploding/in someone's pocket/having a meltdown.
