12 pages so far of you all screaming at Allam for doing what you all knew he was going to do. If you didnt know it, you shouldnt cross roads unaided.
Once again before a big game the name change issue throws up a distraction. It's a ****ing stupid idea and an idea which has been divisive and disruptive from the off. It's a ****ing stupid idea driven by a petulant old man with the social graces of a toad. He may have saved the club, but he is only destroying it with carrying on this disruptive, divisive and nonsensical idea. This issue has drawn an alarming wedge between supporters, the fact he is dismissive of this for his own ends tells you all you need to know. And yes, it is his business and he can do that, but what's a business without the support of its customers?
I haven't screamed once on this thread Chazz but **** knows where this is all gonna end. At one point his major problem was with Hull City Council, it now appears to me that his main grudge is against the fans of the club that he owns, and if that's not insanity I seriously don't know what is.
Only my opinion mate but he's twisted the FA round his finger to the point where they're virtually giving him the opportunity to change it. He's banged on if you own something you can do what you want with it, the Fa will literlly be begging him can you give us more info that it makes money and he will. It'll be debatable but its easily done. I just get bored of all the he's mental, sectionable etc etc. He's said from day one he wants to change the name and he's pursued that, not wavered in the slightest. He's got, is it 20 votes, to sway. If the case was weak but he still got 27 votes then they will vote the same way. So only 11 to get.
Unfortunately I think he's now taken it past the point whereby many supporters will find him palatable ever, even if he now announces that he's giving up on the name change and that it was a stupid idea in the first instance, which he obviously won't. He now simply appears to have tunnel vision in wanting to show the world that 'nobody tells him how to run his business' and that is now his legacy, it's cast in stone, and what he'll be remembered for. He's petulant to probably the highest degree that I've ever seen in anyone, and I've encountered a few petulant tossers in my time. It's very sad that he'll never be remembered for any of the good that he's done but he's definitely driven, not driving, a very large wedge between himself and the clubs supporters, no matter what Happy may want to think.
Its not petulant is it though. He's doing what he said he was going to do. Why would you even mention him u turning now? Some didnt like him right from the off, you cant please everyone.
I don't remember him saying that he'd change the name from the off Chazz, maybe it's my old age but I remember the first hints of smoke when the ex chief executive/MD or whatever his title was, was made to look an absolute **** on blunderside when he said that the playing name of club would definitely remain as Hull City, and shortly afterwards that was found to be a lie when AA began his crusade, and as time has gone on he's appeared, to me anyway, to have become more and more petulant. Maybe I have it wrong.
So if they deny this name change application will he sell the club in 24 hours? Or is that promise null and void with the first application decision being voided.
Almost right but not quite, he built a platform for other people so that they could say he wouldn't do what he's attempting to do. Cowardly and disloyal in the extreme.
