To be honest, I like the idea of a simpel game where we're not constantly questioning the rules.

new roles:

innocent child
suicide bomber (this one is real fun)
the miller
werewolf
zombie
the commuter (townie who leaves town each night thus cannot be killed or recruited)
the voyeur (sees what is done to a player but not by who) can see if a player was recruited but not by which team for example
the follower (follows a player and sees what he does but not who he does it to)
the jailkeeper. is a protective role to protect from kill but also blocks any action that person could make
the survivor.. lone role. only wins if he lives long enough
the lyncher.. third party who's sole objective is to get another player lynched somehow.
ninja. will appear innocent but is actually mafia hitman
the tree stump... they are players who die and lose their vote but can still post all the time and get involved.
the restless spirit - a player who after dath still gets to vote
the vampire. A regualr townie that once night killed by someone wakes up and turns into vampire

 

Make RHC the suicide bomber. The way he ****ed up the last game nobody will die

tree stump yeas.. funny name that. you get your top lopped off but you are still around.

suicide bomber is kind of sensitive role. you are not mafia and dont know who mafia are but they do. You want to be mafia and can only win if they use you.. you are basically told that if the mafia identify someone critical to take out you basically die during the day and take that persons with you.. thus you die but are then in mafia team if they win.

so if someone is close to figuring something out or hinting they know something they die.... its great if some clown says oh x is mafia i am sure and they are completely wrong.. you kill them and everyone assumes he was right and they prob lynch the target.. 3 deaths for no effort... nice.

alternatively it eliminates those votes from the game too.

 

I like the other version of the suicide player; only survives for a limited time. This could be actual time based out comment based; is they are allowed to make twenty comments before automatically dying.

 

MITO, I've not got my pm yet? Does that mean I'm a townie?

 

I like the set-up but I think 48 hour days are a bit much though, a 9 day game would take 3 weeks and I think things would really slow down and get stale, and not sure about 1pm nightfalls the daytime was usually a ghost town in the last game with people working and whatnot. Personally think 24 hour/weekends off/8 or 9pm night fall would be optimal.
