Fantastic. Found exactly what I wanted. http://www.espnfc.us/video/mls-highlights/150/index Ta very much for the guidance fella, you've been a great help Do you mind me asking why you're called Ellewoods?
I dont mind at all. It was my original gamer tag, I just used it as I had used it for a couple other HCAFC related forums. I played as "Elle Woods" (from legally blonde) on a Day of Defeat clan back in the day. In Day of Defeat it was sort of the thing to pick a silly name. Now days I play as "Vladamiur" on most online games (Eve, War Thunder, WOTs stuff like that) on playstation its BumbleBee1841 as everyone in my fraternity has some 80's thing then 1841 as that was the year our fraternity was founded. My internet is a little to slow to play much anymore but once in a while I jump on a game.
I'm a Philadelphia Union supporter. Not doing so well are we. Had a season ticket for a couple of years until we started coming over here to Hull for the summer. Also have a season ticket for the Tigers so able to see the start and end of each season. The food and drink facilities at the U stadium are far superior. Food and drink are separated and on opposite sides of the concourse. Many varieties of food booths who if you call will deliver to your seat. All brands of beer from Bud (ugh!), micro breweries, to Boddingtons. Beer sellers go up and down the isles. Each brand is sold from many separate stalls around the stadium. There are beer glass (plastic) holders on the back of each seat. One end of the stadium (the River End) is reserved for supporters club members who chant and sing the whole game. They are called The Sons of Ben (Franklin) and have their own special shirts. It is a custom built stadium with 18,500 seats and regularly full. By the way, my U season ticket cost more than my KC season ticket for approximately the same location. The parking is also more expensive, $20 per game.
Love seeing Philly back their club like they do. Sons of Ben also look like they have their sh*t together, which makes the gameday experience that much more enjoyable. Dallas' supporters groups are a bit more fragmented, with the Inferno being the largest. It would help if they would join up or collaborate more. They sit on the north end of Toyota Stadium. On the south end, the hispanic supporters group El Matador drums, sings, and dances the whole game, and they kind of set the tone for the whole stadium. The perform the invaluable service of drowning out kids blowing those infernal vuvuzelas.
Just reminded me of one novel thing ( to me) the Sons of Ben do before the game. When the opposing team are announced, the whole stand stands up and turns their backs to the pitch. Then they all shout SUCKS after each name is announced. They certainly get behind their team. Also when the U score a goal the whole crowd sings the DOOP song. Rather tongue in cheek I put the "lyrics" of the song on the thread about suggesting a song for goals scored by the Tigers.

Hey ellewoods and other MLS fans . . . does it bother you that MLS is playing matches during an international weekend? Dallas will be missing Blas Perez and a few other starting XI players while Seattle will be missing only one (and it is not Clint Dempsey).
Yea it's stupid. ESPN said some teams would miss multiple players for 8 games this season due to the lack of international breaks. I think they said that 57 players were missing games this weekend due to national team service. In the case of SJ who has no depth, it really hurt them last season as they lost Wondo, Hernandez, Bernardez, and Goodson for a whole bunch of games. The owners and the league don't seem to care but they are getting enough pressure about it that I think that there will be international breaks in a few seasons.
Dallas receives a well-deserved red card in the 17th minute, but holds on for a scoreless draw at home against Seattle, dropping their first two points of the season. Still, 10 points from 4 matches is a great start.

Highlights and Goals, I can post other teams highlights as well if anyone wants to have me do it for a team they follow and I have neglected to link it.
Some really good goals there. Mind you there's also some pretty awful defending too. Did Grella used to play for Leeds?
Yea and Scunthorpe. There are quite a few English players on teams. I would think that most teams have at least one English player and I would imagine that the average per team is probably two English players. The local club SJ has Jordan Stewart who used to play for Leicester, Watford and a whole bunch of other teams.
National team duty is going to hurt his goal total. Here are the current top 5. 1. Clint Dempsey 3 2. Blas Perez 3 3. Fanendo Adi 3 4. Chris Wondolowski 3 5. Octavio Rivero 3

Just because we were talking about it a few days ago... just had a little quake here! 3.5 centered in San Ramon, which is about 15 minutes from me by car. Shook the house a bit and woke up the wife, but the baby slept through it! There was another, smaller one in San Pablo less than a day ago... 2.7 I think. That's about 15 minutes in a different direction. Didn't feel that one. Good sign for the Quakes this weekend, Elle?
I didn't feel either one here. The news was saying a few days ago that the models are saying a major earthquake will occur soon something to due with the recent frequency of quakes in the area. I'll see if I can find it latter today when I turn the computer on. Hopefully it's a god sign, SJ is doing a lot better than I expected them to so far.
