Of course not. He has to sit through 90 minutes of Moyes' and Van Gaal's football every couple of weeks.

He's not allowed to shout tactical advice like the fans <ok>

Do you have a statistics for the same please for white coaches JUST in England (taking out a massive pool of French, German, Spanish, Italian etc out of the equation).

Also what exactly does Senior Coaching position mean cause that means on average that is 6 coaches per team. I don't know whether thats a big or a small number (does that include youth teams, physios etc).

Within that 401 BME coaches, can i assume that 57 of those is FA UEFA A and 13 are UEFA Pro Licence (i'm assuming the pro licence is the final hurdle) so in reality its only 401 coaches that even have badges. Out of those 401 who hold badges, how wide of a range of ages does that include. Does that include retired managers etc.

Doesn't that further argue that it doesn't just happen to black coaches but white ones too. Curbishly has interviewed and tried to find other manager jobs and still can't get them.

I agree that racism probably does occur, but i'm unhappy at the likes of John Barnes and Paul Ince to moan about their lack of opportunities when they've made a pig ears of their job and then play the race card

If class had anything to do with it, Harry Redknapp would never have got a job at all. :)

Oh that was to do with other industries. In footie, if you are skillful enough you will make it. Something like politics or banking is based upon who you know (of course there are some working class who make it through) rather than on your actual initial ability

    Nah, not at all.
You're quite right, having the right face/background/contacts works wonders in many areas where favouritism and nepotism are rife, and assumptions are made on your capabilities according to class-based prejudices.
I think that with football, the majority of owners want success, and would employ a pink and purple striped Martian hooker if they thought she could do the job.

?? If 19 out of 552 are BME, the others are white.

And no, it's 401 plus 57 plus 13. It's not a great number and that in itself provokes another question.

I'm not sure what you mean by '6 coaches per team'. Senior coaching role means first team manager, assistant manager, first team development coach, youth squad head coach, academy director.

Also, early on in the season Celtic talisman Henrik Larsson suffered a double leg break v Lyon.
This kept him out of the game for 8 months,by which time Barnes was gone.
