    On the point of them not being taken to task about leaving young children unattended, the authorities seem to be overlooking the fact that the other three couples they were with also left their kids in similar fashion.

    Agreed, but they may have done, they were in the same unattended situation as Madeleine. Those parents seem to have had the same attitude as the McCanns
