Great to see Mercedes' good grace in defeat. Contrast this with Horner's narcissistic hissy-fits.

To be fair, they all looked like they just had their pet killed in an accident. I don't think it's as genuine as they seem to make out. They know they still have the better car and it's unlikely they'll get beaten many more times, so it's just a bit of PR.
If the Ferrari go on to be a better car then the real Mercedes will come out

Great drive by Seb. Managed his tyres really well. Could it have been a 1-2 if Kimi didn't have a puncture?

Mercedes can be beaten in a straight fight, will give hope for the others.

No offence intended but are you an aspie? Because neither their faces nor their body language said any such thing. Or maybe it's just your personal bias but you read that wrongly, Fred.

Anyway, it has been a good day for Formula 1 and I don't get to say that often nowadays.

I think so, albeit his qualifying issue would have made it hard, but after the safety car, without the puncture, Ferrari would have been a stick on for a 1-2.

Worth noting Kimi was slightly faster than Seb in practice on the long runs as well as slightly better on his tyres, Vettel was just protecting his tyres out front and controlled the gap, he had a bit more pace if needed, the Mercedes on the tyres they ran, were flat out.

Actually, yes! As hard as it is to believe, i'm not actually as bad as my posts make out :p
And I don't mean Hamilton or Rosberg when I say Mercedes, I just mean when Sky went to interviews with Toto and Niki, they both looked miserable and like they didn't actually mean what they said.

Re. Kimi, maybe yes. On the other hand, Lewis nightmares in Free Practice compromised him badly too. Maybe this, maybe that, it's all over now. I do think Kimi was very unlucky though.

don't think it made much difference as he still beat Rosberg.

Ferrari just out raced them today.

nah, they were just being very german/austrian about it. They sound the same whether they are happy or sad.

shame Toto didn't do the 'this is not acceptable' line again. No one says it better

Ok, cool, but posting about other people's emotional state isn't going to be your strong suit :) They were lovely on BBC, btw :emoticon-0110-tongu And also, I don't think you're bad, I never have. It's just that sometimes your assessment of things perplexes me and now I know why so thanks for your candour.

I think it's the way I just talk on the internet, I probably could try be more "upbeat" about what I type but it's always fun being the guy who trolls a little bit, albeit not in a serious way most of the time.
Most of my views are different to many which doesn't help things either :p
Mclaren actually looked really good today amazingly, if he didn't retire I was pretty much certain Alonso would have had points (He was ahead of Kvyat right?) and Button wasn't too far behind. China could be points if they finish!

Fair point. But on the other hand, Rosberg's just **** right now, isn't he? People moan a lot about it all being the car not the driver, Rosberg is doing his best to prove them right.

Won't rain in China so he will get a better shot in Quali. (Kimi).

It's boring when everyone seems to share a similar point of view; not very illuminating either.

Yes, McLaren were modestly impressive today and they give us an alternative narrative to follow for the season. It will be ignored though because the big story is Ferrari, and rightly so. The decline of Red Bull is another big deal and, given Toro Rosso's ascendency, the 'blame Renault' argument is getting weaker by the race.

    Well done vettel and ferrari!

Have we yet seen Horner "something must be done to reign in Toro rosso"?
