It's pretty obvious why they voted no, as they ****in live up there. So not a fail at all. Most scots only voted yes as they are bigoted towards England. Their not actually intelligent enough to understand the repercussions that Scotland would face if they had. The intelligent Scots would have voted no, that's for sure
You like to paint In big strokes of black and white don't you Cedric. Every Scot who voted yes was well aware of the repurcussions of their decision i would say. They were also aware of the repurcussions of a No vote. As for anti English bigotry, there was very little of that. Certainly nothing any where near as bad as the anti Scottish bigotry we are now seeing in the mainstream English media and from the ruling party in the lead up to this election. Mind you the Tories are playing a blinder. You Nigels love a bogeyman don't you? You, no doubt have the torch and pitchfork within easy reach
If the SNP go into a coalition to make your next government, can they then implement another vote pronto like, only asking
Probably would be part of a deal ... Allow a vote on independence within the next parliament etc They said it was once in lifetime opportunity , they lied. I think there will be a new Indy vote by 2020
We are not anti Scottish. Scotland is far to insignificant a country for us to have a strong opinion either way on. The only thing we have a gripe about is the fact we have to subsidise you, because your incapable of fending for yourselfs. Scotland on the other hand, have an obsession with hating England, which dates back to the whole William Wallace saga. It is just ingrained in the population of Scotland to hate England. It is like a World Cup final to Scotland when they play us at football, yet to us it's just another easy game against another insignificant minnow. If England are playing on the tele in a pub in Scotland and the opposition score, you Scots celebrate it like your own team has scored. If Scotland are on the tele in a pub in England and the opposition scores. Nobody cares either way!
And if they do, it's more likely to be a yes this time ... In my opinion folk are now changing their minds.
Aye... Good yin. Stopme is better than you ... You need to change Scotland to you scotch for better effect.
Nope, no anti Scottish bigotry there. You know the scariest thing about you Shergar? You actually seem to believe the ****e you post.
For what was a secret ballot the Daily Record has incredibly accurate info on who voted either way. I can only speak from my own experience but the 20 or so English people I know that had a vote were pretty much split 50/50.
Maybe the Yes campaign should have given themselves a catchy name like UKIP. SCOIP perhaps (which is a bit close to SCOPE but there you go) JOCKIP maybe
"We"? The spunk-gargling Environmental Consultant will be at Westmonster handing out leaflets again "Oh take my leaflet and meet me at Soho's pink light district at 8pm "
I don't think there will be another vote for at least a decade - I can't imagine the economic argument will be won given the collapse in oil price. In about 10 years though there will probably be another solution on the table, this election is going to leave the country practically ungovernable and both of the main British parties have excluded potentially 50+ Scottish MPs from ever being part of a Government, which will do nothing but accelerate the process. My best guess would be full blown federalism that wouldn't be far short of independence.
