I reckon Arsenal and Liverpool will get 2nd and 3rd. Man City will drop away, but then pick up their form again at the end to finish 4th.
United have been very lucky with a lot of their points recently (bar vs Tottenham), and I reckon they'll keep that up but lose the luck a bit and finish 5th. Southampton and Tottenham will battle it out for 6th and finish a fair bit behind the rest.

Top 4 IMO: Chelsea, Arsenal, City, Liverpool in that order
A Dream Scenario: Arsenal, DGAF about the rest.

    3. Arsenal
    4. United
    5. Liverpool

Its going to be very close between 2nd and 5th. If we go through another blip we will miss out on the top four.

It is an exciting lead to the end with Arsenal and Liverpool hitting form at around the same time. I can't see us dropping out the top 4 to be honest, especially the way we are playing and having most of our players available. We can even hit 2nd if we continue on a good run, even with some of our tough fixtures.

We're both 'in form' in so much as we're winning games. I'm still not confident about our chances against either Liverpool or Chelsea though as they always simply seem to play better football than us when we play them. 2-2 at Anfield but we got outplayed. 5-1 mauling last year. Chelsea comfortably beat us every time we play without getting out of 3rd gear. A win away against a City team that don't turn up to half their games and a win against a rubbish United side aren't necessarily the turnings of a corner. When we play teams who are playing well and in form we haven't done well. And it doesn't seem to matter how good form we're in at that point. We seem to be so frickin' fragile that any team who decides to play really well against us on the day will probably do us over regardless. When was the last time we beat a team who were in good form and who played well on the day? Just seems to be that we are rarely the deciding factor in big games... the opposition is.

The BBC site usually has a premier league table result predictor where you can enter all the results and get an end of season mock-up. Can't find it this season, anyone know where I can find it? Or an alternative on a different site?

Mmm. Brilliant prediction. According to you and others, United will end up with 65 points and the scousers with 76 pts . <laugh>

Care to revise your predictions now? <laugh>

I have the impression you will keep revising these rankings and points every week. For spurs to get 74 points or the scousers 73 they both will need 7 wins out of 8. <laugh>

If we are really honest, we would hope for a scenario where City Arsenal and United would occupy any of these 2-4 places. It is all in their hands and if they win their matches against the other teams there is absolutely nothing that the Saints, Spurs or RS can do even if they win all their own matches.

Goal Difference might play a significant part at the end.

The saints getting 75 points !!! It is obviously possible but as they currently have 53 points they need 22 points- 7 wins and 1 draw at least out of their last 8 matches <ok>
