Fran, I don't have money because the money I do have I spend watching football at St Mary's. So I did have money, but then I don't have money, so am I an evil Saint?
No, you are a good Saint because you provide work for those poor footballers who would otherwise be busking on the street. I salute you..
Staying clear of politics........ If you are not going to Everton next Saturday, get yourself down to the guildhall and see Rival Sons. Brilliant band. http://view.southampton.livenation....61d70&jb=ff981675&ju=fe551675716c007e721d&r=0
Rumour doing the rounds is that sky have approached the Clarkson,May and Hammond about doing a show for them called Top Speed......with a similar format to top gear. #hopeitstrue#
Going to the funeral of one of my very first, and best, school mates tomorrow - won't be easy. Digging the old school tie out and paying my respects/showing my support for his family. It's ever so sad to be going to the funeral of a school mate just 9 months after finishing school. 2015 has been a ridiculous year, with a huge to-and-fro. While things may be going well for myself, I've lost four people already this year - not one over the age of 20. Too soon.
Oh dear that's awful. I lost a class mate when I was in the last year of primary school and lost another one just after we'd finished college.
Yes, it's a horrible feeling - but what has been so encouraging is how the whole school (even though we've all split away for university) has come back together to show support for the family and in so many committing to attending tomorrow.
Connor life isn't fair sometimes and unfortunatley young good people are taken too young too soon. For each of your friends you have lost, just remember the good times and all the laughs you all had together . Back when I was 18 I lost a close friend to leukaemia which as a close group of friends we were, it devastated us all, and on May 6th every year wherever I am I always have a glass of wine and toast her memory .
A mate of mine died basically infront of me when I was 13. His kite got caught in the telegraph pole wires. He climbed up and hit his head on one of the beams then fell to the floor unconscious. He died in a comma a week later.
Ferrari win the F1 Grand Prix. That's good for the sport and means that Mercedes won't think that this year will be a breeze and have it all their own way.
I was just about to go and watch the race (recorded) but I refreshed the screen and saw there was a new post. So I looked before I switched the PC off. Whoops. Vin
