Had a bit of a water leak a while ago and had to repair one of the walls with plaster which I did a while ago to let it dry. So today I decided to sand the repair down and then I could get away with painting the single wall that I had done the repair on. All went well until I stood back to admire my handywork and that's when I realised I had painted it the WRONG F***ING COLOUR. Alcohol time methinks

Sunday morning over here but still have local football team playing later, but the cricket world cup is dominating everything so might join in supporting the locals to beat the fig tree hating Aussies.

Captured a bloody big lump of beef for £7. Sell-by date or something two days off. I figure some of our players reached theirs years ago and are still worth thousands a week. So I took the beef. Well, y'know how it is.

The Fruits are just so sweet and sticky nothing can resist them, insects and birds like to have their way with them over here. No chance of keeping them organic if I want an edible crop.

Look, look, I don't mind all this talk about figs. I mean live and let live an all that. But have you ever given any thought to the manic run from where you're sitting to the bog afterwards? I mean, I understand they wrote the song 'Figaro' because when you're rowing, you can stick your a**e over the stern end and let rip. But in your living room - come on, guys, do me a favour! Jesus, figs - now, they frighten me.

Is that any good mate? Was it that 4G stuff? How much you pay? Did you have to put owt underneath it?

I'm spending my Sunday asking questions evidently.

Seems ok but not sure yet. Only been down a day. I got it reduced at £30 for 4m square cos the package was damaged. Grass itself is fine. That's all I needed. Have decking everywhere so have silicone stuck it to that. My mate put it in his garden and had all the usual hardcore and sand underneath it.
