What if.... If Preston win today, win their other game in hand, beat us AND we draw/lose to Swindon..... They will go top. I know that's a lot of if but that isn't exactly unlikely. In fact it's very likely. Someone said to me on twitter we don't need anyone to do us a favour but we actually do... Fleetwood really need to draw/beat Preston today and we HAVE to at least get 3 points against either Preston or Swindon. This season is far from other. Whilst I'm confident we will go up automatically I'm not so confident that we'll win the league!
Preston still have to play us, swindle and Bradford which are all tough games, plus they have to play Rochdale at home who were one of the best teams I've seen this season. Agreed they need to stop winning, preferably today. But I'm not worried yet.
What If we win all our remaining games barring the one against PNE and Swindon as you said and if PNE draw one more game? Some ifs in our favour But it is and always be squeaky bum time being a city fan, seen us balls up champions a few times, one that hurts most is the rovers one. Hopefully Fleetwood do us a favour today. If PNE win we will be in the same posible points difference as 5pm last Saturday if they won, but with one less game to go.
If preston lose today then I think that will be it. We'll win the league no matter how we get on against them and Swindon. If they win though it could go right to the wire.

Here's another one! IF only we beat Barnsley... Would have been a 12 point gap and you would say that Preston from their remaining 8 games, won't win 4 more than us seeing as we're only playing 7. BUT it's nice to see now that we'll be promoted if we beat Swindon on TV and we could win the league at Preston avoiding defeat providing the gap remains 10 points.
No your wrong on the promoted bit at Swinsons game mate. They have 2 games in hand so could but that would mean us losing everygame and them winning everygame catch us.
Yep just been told on OTIB that Swindon will still have 7 games to play after us! Wasn't aware they had that many to play.
