http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...-second-half-strike-earn-Three-Lions-win.html They says nice things about Pritch and Carroll, which is good.
Sterling and Wellbeck injured so Harry Kane V Giorgio Chiellini. Chiellini doesn't need to worry about his ear being bitten, but he does need to worry about being left on his arse!
The three fastest scorers on their England debuts are all Spur-related: Kane, Bill Nicholson... ...and John Cock.
1 cap. 1 goal. From Wiki as wanted to read up on why Nicholson had 1 cap as someone made reference to this via the bbc live feed using twitter.
See the twat PiersMorgan tweeted Kane's goal was a fluke, and he still wouldn't get on the goons bench, some one should tell him,he's has no intention of trying,he's already at a better team,as they will find out, next season, and who needs the goons when you are already an international player
What actually happened at that hotel, nobody is really saying. If Clarkson gave the guy a slap, then he was probably out of order. However, for twatting Morgan, he deserves the undying gratitude of all of us.
All I can say is that the executives are Real must have been rubbing their cocks, watching Kane score on his debut for England. No doubt, they'll soon be looking towards the "special relationship" that they have with us, to take our talisman goal-scorer off our hands for a fat fee.
Israel 0 Wales 2 (Ramsey, Bale) Good luck to the welsh as they are in a tough group (unlike England) and Chris Coleman is proving people wrong and we love seeing welsh managers prove people wrong!
3-0 to Wales. A terrific result and good to see Bale having a big influence by scoring twice and with an assist for the other goal.
What did you make of this superb goalkeeping, SC? Brilliant strike, to be fair. U21 highlights: Goal and goalline clearance from Carroll, plus a glance of Pritchard. 4-0 highlights:
Watching the highlights, there was something distinctly odd in the crowds reaction to Harry's England goal.Surprise, delight and loud. Can't recall hearing that sound before on a football pitch.
At best all we heard was "Kane could be...." a squad player or offer something to the first team, so he is simply a player that no one believed could be this good (apart from himself) and a lesson to all of us not to be so quick to dismiss youngsters. I know in previous debates a few believed that if a player hadn't made it by the age of 21 ( 22) at the latest then there is no hope so they should be discarded. I disagreed with that view but I never believed Kane would make such an impact. I remember when we played a scottish side in Europe, can't remember the team but Redknapp was manager and Kane played , he may have missed a penalty, but I was winding up my pal (who is a scot and hated Michael Owen) telling him Kane was the new Owen as back then all I knew was Kane had a cynical strike rate as a youngster( from reading an article on the spurs site) I'll pretend to him that I always knew Kane would be a star!
