As a football/scotland supporter who used to avidly watch all four home nations with interest in qualifiers etc i just dont feel the same about it ,is it just me or does anybody else feel fed up with all the hype (england mostly)as over the years the result is always the same ,qualify, meet the big boys and home again after doing nothing .
Apart from the hype bit, supporting England is just like supporting Sunderland, a rare high amid the permanent disappointment! I'll be down the pub watching us again as usual!
Couldn't care less about England's results! For no particular reason other than that I support Sunderland and they have done nothing for our club - "Harry Kane's call up was inevitable" (I agree by the way - but I also reckon he wouldn;t have played had Sturridge been fit) Well AJ was, at the same point last season, in just as good form and he didn't get picked! Kevin Phillips was the best striker in Europe and didn;t get picked - Roy Hodgson picks Sturridge the crock regardless of form and fitness (looked rusty as ****), Andros Townsend - (one of the worst wingers I have seen this season) and players like Phil Jagielka who got owned by Kiev and has a rather poor defensive record this season... England can **** right off - I'd rather watch Berwick Rangers
Cant argue with any of that, woy is a first class yes man clown but its still England for me, whatever the sport, football being my favourite of them all
pissed off it's being shown on a Friday night- a gig night- inevitably means a pub will ask us muso's to start later or until after the match has finished or it'll be switched on when the bands playing so every fooker will be looking the other way - or worse still on a tv screen above our heads
Pisses me off when they do that! I'm not gigging tonight - quiet this month but April is busy (Farringdon club on Easter Monday!) but am also not bothered about watching the game - going to get myself a new pet (Gecko!)

Don;t have to support the national joke to be a footy fan nector! I find myself inevitably cheering England's oppo on nowadays as I dislike them that much. Roy Hodgson picks players he wants to pick - form is completely irrelevant - Harry Kane would've started on the bench if Studge was fit!! And he is currently the best english striker there is!
You've not been watching United for the past few weeks then since he went back into his forward role? He's got 5 games to score 3 goals, if he does it then Bobby Charlton's record crumbles at his feet. I don't mind people thinking he's a **** or a scruffy scouser, but the fact is, he's not ****, he's absolutely ****ing brilliant.
